A Fantastic Upgrade for My Kitchen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been very impressed with my Bosch Series 8 induction cooktop. It heats up incredibly fast, offers precise temperature control, and makes cooking much more efficient. The touch controls are responsive, and the sleek glass surface is easy to clean. The FlexInduction feature is especially useful for larger pots and pans. Overall, it's a premium-quality appliance that performs exceptionally well and has made cooking more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality induction cooktop.

Very pleased with Bosch (inc induction cooktop)
The PXX995KX5E replaces a different, more expensive German brand (which had already had expensive repairs, but again became faulty). We looked at various brands / models in local retailers, and this Bosch came top of our list with regard to features, appearance and overall value. Have now been using it for approx one month, and 100% happy with every aspect of it ... very intuitive and easy to use controls, and quick and even heating with our cookware. It joins a Bosch oven, microwave and dish washer in our kitchen, all of which have been excellent and reliable performers over the approx 15 years that we have had them. Highly recommended!

    Questions & answers

The instructions state that the supplied cable must be used. Is it possible to purchase the 5 core cable I require when I purchase the hob? I’m an electrician and can make the connection easily enough after seeing the installation instructions. Thanks Mathew · 2025-09-09
Hello Thank you for your question about the product. I apologize for the delay, as I needed to confirm with the supplier regarding your request. Here is their response: Bosch Australia: This cooktop is approved only for single-phase connection. Therefore, we recommend using the supplied 3-core cable for installation. I hope this information will assist you when shopping with us at Appliances Online. Our Sydney-based team is available 24/7 to assist you at Ph: 1300-000-500. Colin Jones, Appliances Online
Is this induction hob available as a ”3N~” unit with the 5 core cable supplied? If so, what is the kw rating per phase? I’d like to know the current rating when used as a 3 phase unit. Mathew · 2025-08-30
Hello Thank you for your question about the product. The kilowatt power rating is listed on our website as 11.1 kilowatts (46.2 amps). This model includes a cable that allows your electrician to connect it to a single-phase power supply from your power board. It's important that this cooktop is on its own dedicated circuit. For optimal electrical connection options, we recommend consulting your electrician. They can set up the cooktop as 2 or 3 Phase if that suits your setup better. I hope this information will assist you when shopping with us at Appliances Online. Our Sydney-based team is available 24/7 to assist you at Ph: 1300-000-500. Colin Jones, Appliances Online
