I bought this washine machine in April of 2020. It has been 8 months since and I can report that it was worth the purchase. It is fairly quiet and hasnt changed since I first purchased it. It is a "cold-only" machine which I had assumed meant that it would only wash in cold water, however, it actually means that it only uses water from the cold tap and heats it up in the machine which really saves on our hot water supply (which is quite small). Clothes come out perfectly washed (we use liquid detergent so cant vouch for powder) and the refresh cycle works well in case you forget to take them out of the machine. Pretty energy efficient (which drew me to this model initially) and the delivery people from the company were professional, helpful and installed everything for me.

The machine was working OK until suddenly the door would not open at the end of a wash. Having found the manual release to unload the clothes, I called the service team. "Oh thats a common problem with the lock on the Bosch units" was the reply from the service person. We'll order the part from Melbourne. Over a week later they turned up only to discover they needed another part BUT that had to get approved by the insurer (extended warranty offered by AOL). 2 weeks later they came with the main inverter board BUT that didn't fix it and I was told the moto had gone too. The technician said it would likely be replaced and it would take a week. 3 weeks later I am still trying to get my credit and still no washing machine. NOT good enough especially over Christmas. Never buy a Bosch washing machine.

I bought my washer and now that it is 8 months out of warranty it wont work properly! The 1 hour wash takes 2 hours and wont even wash clothes properly. It wets the clothes and spins them every now and then but doesnt actully fill with water and wash. Last Bosch I every buy.
