    This Bosch Serie 2 Freestanding Microwave features AutoPilot 8 for effortless cooking. Just add the weight of the dish and press “Start”, AutoPilot then takes over and determines the cooking mode, temperature and duration. It even switches off the program towards the end of the cooking time. As some dishes with the AutoPilot require the use of ovenware with a lid, the interior walls also stay clean. Cooking couldn’t be simpler.

    Another feature is the favourite setting where you can save your preferred settings by choosing the desired time and wattage and then pushing the star button - you will never have to select it again. Quick start is another time saver - the microwave starts at maximum power for 30 seconds - for easy handling and powerful performance.

    Programming this microwave with an assortment of preset cooking programs, the AutoPilot 8 automatically sets the optimal cooking duration and power level for a variety of different foods.

    Grill function

    Excellent Microwave for Everyday Use
    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had the Bosch Serie 2 Freestanding Microwave for about two years now and it’s been completely reliable. It heats food evenly, is relatively quiet and simply does what it’s supposed to do without any fuss. The build quality feels solid, and we’ve had no issues or faults since purchasing it. The only minor annoyance is the end-of-cycle beeper. It keeps reminding you that the food is ready until the door is opened, which can be a little frustrating if you’re busy and can’t get to it straight away. Overall, a dependable microwave that performs well and has proven reliable over time.

    Good but a couple of niggles
    Annoying 30 beep at end of cooking is very annoying and inability to adjust by seconds after 1 minute is frustrating. As this is only a 800w oven you need to change the time for the majority of frozen meals. The conversion charts are down to seconds. Other than that it is a nice looking unit, fits in with my Bosch kitchen and works well. Would still recommend

    Sleek and Stylish Bosch
    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this microwave for three years now. Its a sturdy appliance, and very quick, quiet when cooking, it does have all the bells and whistles but discreetly hiden, so as not too many buttons showing. I like the self cleaning function with placing a mug with water and a drop of dish washing soap then turning on that function. It cleans itself inside. The unit is easy to wash clean. The door makes a thud sound not tinny like some microwaves sound when opening and closing the door. The multiknob is so good to use. It has an extended chim bell when the machine is finished its function that lets me know for a while that its done. I recommend it.
