[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After doing my research I came to the conclusion that this model was the best cooktop within my budget and certainly met my expectations but didn't exceed. The one let down is that we have to hold down the knobs for longer then i'd like before the cooktop ignites. Wok burner works really well though. In my opinion if you can afford the uplift to the series 6 then do it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently renovated my house and upgraded all appliances to BOSCH buying 2 of everything. I am extremely disappointed in this cooktop for a number of reasons. I thought I was buying a quality product but instead it feels cheap. 1. The wrought iron trivets are driving me crazy because I can't wipe it with any type of cloth. All cloths types' fibers stick to it, it's rough and scratchy. 2. The stainless steel coating on the surface is easily scratched if the spill has dried. You have to be extra mindful and remember this when wiping a spill. This also feels and looks cheap and inferior. 3. The knobs look and feel extremely cheap - not what I would expect from a BOSCH product. 4. The space over the burners between the trivets is too spacey. I have a small item to make coffee and it is unstable when placed on top instead it has to sit over the burner and I have to hold it. I purchased this item without seeing it in a store, mainly because I saw the high rating it received from the CHOICE magazine. In hindsight I should have gone into a store and had a bit of touch and feel to analyse it before jumping up to buy it. If I had done that I am sure I would not have purchased it. So disappointed. Now that I have started to use my products I hope the rest of the appliances live up to the name.
