The Blanco NAYA9 has a huge main bowl but there is no connection point in the stainless steel bowl for the integrated overflow feature. The integrated overflow feature was one of the reasons for our choice of this sink. Plumbing fixtures for the overflow system were included in the box but when the plumber went to install the sink into our new kitchen we discovered it was not possible because of the lack of a cut-out in the sink body. Worse, one of the sink drains incorporates the overflow connection and we were forced to purchase a new main drain so the sink could be installed without the overflow facility. Very disappointed. However, impressed with Appliances on Line delivery staff who, as on all previous occasions, provide prompt efficient service.

The Blanco sink was recently purchased to compliment our new kitchen. The main bowl of stainless steel unit is big and allows washing of quite large items. One design feature that caught our eye was the integrated overflow system. However there was no provision of a cut-out within the stainless steel sink bowl to connect the overflow even through a complete set of plumbing attachments for the overflow system was supplied. This included a special main drain unit. Our plumber could not install this design function and we were compelled to purchase an additional main drain unit as there is no way of isolating the "overflow attachment" if not connected to the non-existent connection point in the bowl. Seems to be a good quality product but disappointed.
