    Overview

Ausclimate excel at creating high-functioning, resourceful dehumidifiers for a happier, healthier home.

This 25L model is no exception, offering efficient dehumidification for medium to large rooms. This dehumidifier helps to reduce musty odours that accompany mould and mildew, as well as the build up of dust, condensation and bacteria, regulating healthy air and protecting your home. Intuitively designed, this unit is extremely lightweight, and conveniently comes with castors, making it easy to move around as needed. Despite this, it still offers a 4-litre water tank, so maintenance is fuss-free.

Nifty and versatile, this Ausclimate dehumidifier also operates as an economical clothes dryer for hanging indoor laundry, as it dries out the room to eliminate troublesome moisture. The perfect addition to your large bedroom or living space, Ausclimate’s 25L dehumidifier is a breath of fresh air.
    Variable humidity settings

    Soft-touch LED controls

Operating this dehumidifier is as simple as a single touch, using the soft-touch controls. It’s also easy to monitor thanks to the indicator lights, letting you know when the tank is full, or when the unit is in defrost mode.

    Automatic shut-off

Making life simpler for you, the dehumidifier will automatically turn itself off when the 4L water tank is full, so you know when it’s time to empty it.

    Continuous drainage hose option

For your convenience, you can use the continuous drain hose to save you the trouble of having to empty the water tank.

    Simple and effective dehumdifier.
Through peak summer in SE Queensland I use the air conditioners on 'dry' mode, which makes the air feel crisp. During the shoulder season, when it's not so hot, I just haven't been able to get the moisture out of the air - even with all four split systems on, which is creating a bit of a mould problem. This device steps in at the lower temperatures. I have an energy monitor plugged in, which shows it using around 350w, and less than 4kw per day on average over the past 7 days while removing 10+ L of water. I keep it set on 50 - 60%, and now have it in the ensuite draining directly into our floor drain. It will cut in as we shower and keeps our towels super dry and crisp. It's early days, but having re cleaned all walls of mould, they are holding up very nicely. I've very pleased with the purchase, and very happy for the low energy usage and crisp air.

    Great Deal for the price
These units are an excellent deal for the price. They are made to be primarily used in warmer climates, as there is a different set for cooler climates. They are easy to carry or wheel around so anyone can set them in the correct position. I live in Townsville and use them after prolonged high humidity, as they are cheaper to run than the AC. They have a four-liter tank, which can fill as quickly as 5-6 hours. I want the tank to be bigger, but I realise that would probably be difficult for most of the population. They can be a little noisy, but no more than a window AC (which is what I have). Lowering the humidity raises the comfort level and minimises mold. A temp/humidity meter is used to assess the results. I have four of them throughout the house, and you can tell the rooms they are used in. If you are experiencing high levels of mold, follow their instructions, and the results should greatly benefit you. I purchased them because I could see some mold developing in the built-in wardrobes, and this assisted greatly in eradicating it. Also, dollar for dollar, this is far cheaper than the moisture-absorbing tubs that people usually use. Two personal tips I'd like to add: 1. I put two drops of plain bleach in the tank (yes, I have a bottle with an eyedropper); this helps prevent any contamination, and I dispose of the water in the toilet, which also continues the decontamination process. 2. Because they can turn themselves on after a power outage, I have them connect to smart home power outlets. I turn the unit on, then turn it on or off from the phone. This allows me to check on the moisture level in the house remotely and turn them on before I get home, so most of the work is done by the time I arrive. There are two negatives that I think they could improve. 1. The extension cord could at least be 50cm longer. And in 2025, having a “Matter” smart home connection (universal home automation standard) should start to be standard. I realise that would increase the cost, but it should be an option at the very least. I highly recommend this product. Sal

    Questions & answers

What kind of air filtration does this have? Does it have a HEPA filter? Anonymous · 2023-09-13
Good Afternoon, Thank you for this product question, generally an air purifier would have the Hepa filter not so much with a dehumidifier, however, I reached out to the supplier to double-check for you, and here is their response this afternoon: The product filters the air by reducing the moisture in the air through a compressor and into a bucket as water. It does not require a HEPA filter, and this would actually reduce the use of the unit. We hope this information is helpful to you.
