Designed for flexible installation, it supports both flush and top-mount configurations, helping it blend seamlessly into virtually any benchtop design. At the heart of this cooktop is the exclusive Dynamic Slide interface, which responds intelligently to your touch. When you interact with a zone, its controls illuminate and bring precision sliders within easy reach, allowing for effortless adjustments.
Cooking becomes intuitive and uninterrupted thanks to the Move function, which transfers all settings—including heat level and timer—when relocating cookware between zones. The Auto Bridge feature allows two adjacent zones to merge into one wider cooking area, ideal for griddles, large pans, or specialty cookware. For further convenience, PLUS Menu Cooking presets let you choose optimized settings for grilling, simmering, frying, or warming—eliminating guesswork and helping you achieve consistent results.
Integrated Hob2Hood connectivity enables the cooktop to communicate with compatible rangehoods: once cooking starts, your extraction system can activate and adjust itself dynamically to maintain optimal airflow and air quality. With its mix of smart features, refined design, and functional flexibility, the HI5842FBG1 is built to deliver seamless control and culinary excellence in a stylish package.
