I use all the different cycles for this machine and they all wash beautifully. What I love most about this machine is that whites come out sparkling white. I mostly use the cotton cycle, however have discovered that non colourfast items can bleed colour in this cycle so the dark or mixed load cycle works beautifully for those. The machine can be a little noisy, however, that's only an issue if your machine is located in the kitchen, like ours is. And it's only occasionally that it bothers us. On a final note, my water usage reduced markedly when I switched to this machine from a top loader.
