It is a quiet achiever, with no bells and whistles, but it dries beautifully. The only minus is the lint filter, I don't like it, I prefer the in door less fuss and easier to clean, but this is all that's on offer now.Great, basic dryerThis was a replacement for a much more complicated to operate, old dryer. This Simpson one is easy to operate. We can select the drying time - the old one worked only in units of 30 minutes! Since we usually manage to get things mostly dry on the clothesline first, we can run this dryer for just 10 minutes if we want. Doesn't tangle the clothes, and the lint trap works REALLY well. The last dryer used to blow lint out all over the place. The Simpson lint trap is really fine and catches everything. It's a dryer. It works.Legendary service
