    Great water and ice feature
    I bought this fridge a month ago, and so far it's great. We love the easy water and ice feature and it's easy to refill. The freezer setup is tidy and more spacious than you'd think. We've lost a small amount of fridge space compared to our old fridge the same size, but don't mind, as we wanted the icemaking. All up a great fridge.

    the ice and water feature has been a hit
    I bought this fridge a few weeks ago. Love the fridge internal light at the front so even if i fill my fridge to max i can still see everything.Overall it's quiet, sometimes you can hear the ice machine in the middle of the night but if it annoys just turn the internal water container to close. We had 7 adults and 2 children at xmas and we didn't need to turn on the spare fridge.Plenty of room. 1 reason i got this fridge was for the freezer space.Side by side seem to have more volume. Very happy.

    Hi,  I understand this is advertised as a Non-plumbed water dispenser, but does it have the option to connected to a external tap (our new house already has the attachment installed). thank you Ian b · 2016-02-09
    Hi Ian, Thank you for your enquiry, LG has specified that this particular fridge comes with a 3 litre water tank which is required to be refilled constantly. The option of plumbing is unavailable and can only be used in this current setup. They've advised that it doesn't have any physical attachments at the back of the unit.     We have a space of 900mm ( width ) , with plenty of height and depth . Is leaving 3mm each side a bit too tight in your opinion ? Backy69 · 2016-01-02

    Hello there, Thank you for your product enquiry regarding the LG GC-L197HPNL Side by Side Fridge. This particular model does not feature an internal water filter for the non-plumbed water canister within the fridge. A basic mesh filter is included, that would require cleaning on a regular basis, but would not filtrate the water for anything other than larger particles.
