This is as old as my son. We used this since we move to Australia. moved 3 houses. Survived all the house moving. Agree to some of the comments saying that the drawers all broke easily. Other than that every thing else is working and in great condition. In fact it looks brand new with the anti finger print finish. We will be selling it off as our family is growing and we need a bigger fridge. This fridge will always be in our heart for serving us till now.

We have never had a mechanical issue with this fridge, however 5 years on we have now got so many broken shelf and door trays we are looking at hundreds of dollars in replacement parts which are not covered under the 10year warranty. Our second shelf has just collapsed (meaning more weight will now be placed on the remaining shelves, probably leading to more broken shelves), the handle on the ice maker has snapped off and at least 4 of the door trays have huge cracks in them. Despite being in perfect working order, the fridge is barely usable. We have upgraded every major appliance in the house (except the oven) to LG but will never buy them again - between this and a friend's house nearly burning down due to an electrical fault in their LG dishwasher (less than 3 years old) I've been completely put off the brand.

Stopped working at 5 years old and was told it was past warranty so we could contact LG and have a service person come out at our expense. I have lost a whole fridge and freezer full of food at Christmas and as of today over two weeks later I still have no working fridge. Very disappointing as I shop the through appliances online for most electrical items and the first time I need them it has been extremely disappointing.
