[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the single best appliance I've ever had the privilege of knowing. This godsend has reunited my family and brought us together in times of hardship. It has become apparent to me after gazing into the frosty reflections of the freezer that life is short and should be filled with only the best, which this fridge more than fufills the role.

Fridge itself seemed to be fine, nice and large, plenty of room. It is the one with the freezer at the bottom, and I found the fridge door handle grip to be a little too low (and I'm short) when opening the fridge part. From day one, the fridge didn't cool enough (sat at about 6 degrees), and no success with adjusting temp controllers. OK so it might have been a lemon, but not according to the service people (Electrolux Servicing). Service guy came out and says fridge is fine, even though he tested the temperature and found it to be 5.6 degrees. The fridge and freezer temp controls are not able to be set independently, so if you want the fridge colder, then the freezer will get warmer (and vica versa). This is what the service man explained quite clearly to me, and he told me I can't set the fridge temp to be any colder because the freezer will get warmer (I tried it and he was right). I don't know if we just had a dud fridge or not, but if I can't get the fridge to be cold enough then I don't see the point of having a fridge. I especially don't see the point of making the fridge and freezer temps dependent upon each other. Why can't they BOTH be cold? Apparently this is not how this fridge works, according to the service man. Not very useful in my opinion. Tried for a week to get some sense out of service dept, who were very unhelpful and showed a distinct lack of care. They said the fridge was fine. In the end, they must have gotten sick of dealing with me because they suddenly offered to take the fridge back and give me a refund. We gladly accepted. Got a new Fisher & Paykel 519L which has been icy cold from the start. Very happy with the new fridge.

The fridge is extremely quiet and is an ideal model for a young family.
