[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Cast Iron Charcoal and Smoker Tray I received for free from @napoleonproducts for my honest review. This Tray is a game changer. I've had a Rogue XL grill with rotisserie and stainless steel smoke box for years now that is great, and use it multiple times a week. This tray takes grilling and smoking to a whole other level with the added flavor of cooking over coals and wood. This tray is thick and heavy and fits perfectly into place in the grill. Just remove the grates and sear plates, lay it inside, load with charcoal/wood of your choice, put grates back on, light propane burners under it, wait for charcoal to light and turn off the propane. It shipped and was delivered fast, sooner than expected and couldn't wait to try it out. I did skirt steak with purple potatoes, mushrooms, garlic onions and chimichurri sauce. Using lump charcoal and a little apple and cherry wood. It came out with a perfect sear and was delicious. Clean up was simple. The following morning once I was sure it was completely cooled, I took it out, dumped ash, and wiped it and the grill with a damp cloth. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to elevate their outdoor grilling to another level by bringing wood smoke and charcoal to the feast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is nothing like having a cookout with food made on a charcoal grill! We have a hotdog stand in our area that makes everything on Charcoal. As a child growing up, it was one of our favorite places to go. We have not been going to that establishment because the prices have gone extremely high. The The Napoleon Charcoal/Smoker Tray is an easy way to turn your gas or propane grill into a charcoal grill. It is like having food from our old favorite place. It is so easy to use. Just pour some charcoal in the tray, light the grill for a few minutes until the charcoal starts to burn. Then you turn off the gas or propane and let the charcoal do the work. If you want more of a smokey taste, there is even a section where you could add wood chips. The first time we cooked, we made hotdogs, veggie burgers, and corn. We absolutely loved the taste in each of these items. The next 4 days, we cooked on the grill using the Napoleon Charcoal/Smoker tray. We have made Greek chicken, potatoes, hamburgers, sausages, and even home made pizzas! We loved everything we made. In fact, we had guests over that are very interested in buying one too. If I had to pick one thing I do not like very much, it would be the clean up after the charcoal burns. However, that would be in issue with any charcoal grill you may own. This is an amazing product if you love food cooked on charcoal. It is also a huge money saver not only because you are eating at home, but it saves money on gas or propane usage. I would highly recommend the Napoleon Charcoal/Smoker Tray to everyone!
