Vented dryers
Wall mounting your dryer is ideal for those with top loader washers or large vented dryers that cannot be stacked. Most vented dryers will come with a bracket so that you can mount it on the wall. Due to their heavier weight, condenser and heat pump dryers cannot be wall mounted.

A great way to make the most of your laundry space is to stack your appliances on top of one another - putting them side-by-side takes up valuable space. By placing your dryer on top of your washing machine, you free up additional room, making it possible to store your laundry appliances in tight spaces such as behind cupboard doors. This way you can have everything in one place, easily accessible and out of the way.
Stackable washers and dryers often come as a matching set with a purpose-built stacking kit. Alternatively, you can purchase a generic anti-vibration rubber mat to stack machines of differing brands. To safely stack your dryer the dryer must be no wider or deeper than the washer.

No venting required
Condenser and heat pump dryers are an excellent choice for high-rise living, as you can place these models virtually anywhere - they do not need ventilation and will not pump moisture into the room. You can put them in a cabinet out of sight and not have to worry about mould or mildew damage. Great for apartments that lack proper ventilation or don't have a dedicated laundry space. They tend to be more expensive than regular sized models and feature smaller capacities, but still an excellent option for those with little to no space for standard size laundry appliances.
