With the revolutionary Water Flywheel, the WaterRower closely reproduces the exercise conditions of water-based rowing. Using a specially-designed paddle to cup the water, each stroke of the WaterRower™ provides an unrivalled emulation of the benefits of rowing. Resistance is infinitely variable, with more resistance being applied the harder you pull the handle. This allows you to train strength and endurance in the same proportions, using up to 84% of the body’s muscle simultaneously.
Constructed using premium wood from sustainable forests, a WaterRower™ will look fantastic in your home. With the A1, Walnut, and Ash models available, you can find a WaterRower™ that suits your style. The Ash and Walnut WaterRower™'s make use of an included S4 Performance Monitor while the A1 features the A1 Monitor.

S4 Performance Monitor
Specially designed for the WaterRower™ and providing all of your training data at a glance, the S4 Performance Monitor helps you remain focused on your fitness goals, showing your strokes per minute, duration of your rowing session, intensity in metres per second, and distance rowed. You can program your training session, selecting between distance, time, and interval training. Upon finishing your training session, the S4 Monitor will display your performance statistics and analysis.
Connect your S4 Performance Monitor to your laptop through a USB cable and take advantage of We-Row, the online training tool where you can store your exercise data, create private and customised training sessions, establish your own rowing profile, and even race against other online users. Join online races or create your own at your desired times, to push yourself beyond your limits.
SlimBeam
Multifunctional and versatile, the SlimBeam combines premium design with complete functionality, allowing you to undertake a full body workout. The height-adjustable butterfly is the main feature, designed for training both sides of your body and swivel to meet any standing position. With 15 5kg rubberised plates, you can maximise the effect of each workout. Receiving a German Design Award in 2016, the SlimBeam was rated for high-quality, design, and functionality.
Haptik Ball
Hand-stitched in Germany, the NOHrd Haptik Ball has been designed to increase circulation in your hands and fingers, as well as strengthen muscles, improve coordination, and relieve stress. Filled with iron granules, the Haptik Ball provides a comfortable resistance when it’s squeezed, lifted, and held. Made from high-quality materials and oiled with beeswax to protect it against moisture, the Haptik Ball isn’t an ordinary stress ball.

The Waterrower story
Blending premium construction with superior fitness functionality, WaterRower™ brings German-made quality into the comfort of your home. WaterRower™ Inc began in 1988, with John Duke, a Yale and US National Team Rower, forming the company and product around the idea that dry land training should simulate conditions in the water.
This led to the formation of WaterRower™ UK in 1991, marketing and distributing the WaterRower™ throughout Europe. This was expanded in 1993 allowing the UK branch to manufacture the WaterRower™ for the European market. In 2000 the company set its sights on the sunburnt country, bringing the elite design and style of the WaterRower™ to Australia.
With a prominent presence in Germany since 1994, joined shortly after by the NOHrd manufacturing facility in 2005, WaterRower™ have developed a reputation for designing and reproducing high-quality fitness equipment from sustainable wood.
WaterRower™ and NOHrd lovingly create their products from sustainably managed forests in the USA and Germany, such as the Appalachian Mountain region, only using guaranteed young and smooth heartwood in their fitness equipment. The premium-quality wooden elements are oiled to protect them from dirt and stains, allowing the wood to naturally darken over time, adding to the overall aesthetic.
When it comes to the leather used in WaterRower™/NOHrD products, such as the Haptik Ball, it’s hand-worked, genuine, and sourced exclusively in Germany. Vegetable tanned and adhering to the standardised IS0 9001 quality system, the leather will remain strong, malleable, and will maintain a natural look over time.
