About Bialetti

Italy has a rich heritage of outstanding food, one that is admired and revered worldwide. Passion radiates in the kitchen, with love, laughter, and delicious aromas forming the heart of the home. Bialetti understands this and has created cookware and coffee makers that excite, captivate and bring people together.

Alfonso Bialetti, equipped with metal-working skills he’d acquired and honed through working in the French aluminium industry, began by establishing his own metal and machine workshop in Crusinallo in 1919. Alfonso transformed his workshop into a studio for design and production and officially founded the Bialetti brand in 1933, focusing on manufacturing moka pots.

And manufacture them he did, revolutionising the art of coffee brewing with the Moka Express. Featuring high-quality construction, advanced technologies, and a unique style, Bialetti has proven time and time again that the Express wasn’t a simple fluke.

With a legacy extending over 85 years, it’s no surprise that a Bialetti product is found in nine out of ten households across Italy.
