Promotion Period: Starts 12:00 AM AEDT on Friday, 19 December 2025 and ends 11:59 PM AEDT on Monday, 12 January 2026 ("Promotion Period"). Entries received outside this period are ineligible.

Entry Limits: One (1) entry per person during the Promotion Period.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") incorporate and form part of the entry process for the Promotion. Participation constitutes acceptance of these Terms. The Promoter's decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

1. Eligibility

This Promotion is a game of skill and is only open to Australian residents (including all states and territories) who are aged 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, Haier Australia, and any associated agencies, retailers, or suppliers involved in the Promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any spouses, de facto partners, parents, natural or adopted children, and siblings (whether natural or adopted).

Entrants must have a valid Facebook account and access to the internet. The Promotion is void where prohibited by law. No purchase is necessary to enter or win, and a purchase will not improve chances of winning.

2. How to Enter

To enter, during the Promotion Period:

● Visit the Appliances Online Facebook page and locate the official Promotion post.

● Like the post.

● Share the post publicly on your Facebook timeline

● In the comments section of the post, reply with: "Who's your top AO player to watch in 2026 and why?" and provide an answer to the question of 25 words or less and tag one (1) friend (using @username).

All entries must be made personally by the entrant. Automated, bulk, script, or third-party entries are prohibited and may result in disqualification. Incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent entries will be deemed invalid at the Promoter's discretion. By entering, you warrant that your entry complies with these Terms and Facebook's Community Standards.

3. Prizes

The total prize pool value is approximately AUD $3,157 (inclusive of GST). Prizes are as follows:

Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize becomes unavailable for any reason. All prize values are recommended retail prices and may vary. Winners are responsible for all additional costs associated with the prize, including but not limited to installation (beyond standard), transport, insurance, taxes, and any ancillary fees. Prizes will be delivered within 28 days of winner verification, subject to stock availability. Gift cards expire 12 months from issue and are subject to Appliances Online's terms.

4. Winner Selection

Winners will be selected based on the skill and creativity demonstrated in their entry, as judged by a panel of qualified representatives appointed by the Promoter. Judging will be conducted at 10:00 AM AEDT on Tuesday, 13 January 2026 at the Promoter's Sydney office (Level 2, 20A Danks St, Redfern NSW 2016).

Each entry will be assessed according to predetermined criteria, including originality, creativity, and relevance to the competition theme. The number of entrants will be published following the judging on the Appliances Online Facebook page.

5. Winner Notification and Verification

Winners will be notified via Facebook Messenger (or email if provided) within 48 hours of the draw, and publicly announced on the Appliances Online Facebook page (using first name, initial, and state only) by 15 January 2026. Winners must respond within 7 days, providing full name, address, phone, and proof of age/residency (e.g., driver's licence).

If a winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within the timeframe, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be drawn at the same location and time as the original draw (or as soon as practicable). The Promoter takes no responsibility for undelivered notifications due to incorrect contact details, spam filters, or technical issues.

6. Prize Claim and Unclaimed Prizes

Prizes must be claimed in full within 3 months of notification. Unclaimed prizes will be redrawn at 10:00 AM AEDT on 13 April 2026 at the same location, with new winners notified as per Section 5.

7. Publication of Winners

A full list of winners (first name, initial, state, and prize) will be published on the Appliances Online Facebook page and website (appliancesonline.com.au/promotions) within 7 days of the final draw.

8. Privacy and Data Collection

The Promoter collects personal information (e.g., name, email, address, Facebook ID) to administer the Promotion, notify winners, deliver prizes, and for marketing purposes (with consent). By entering, you consent to: (i) the Promoter using your information as described; (ii) receiving promotional communications from the Promoter and Haier Australia (opt-out available); and (iii) your entry (including comments/tags) being published on social media.

Information is stored securely in Australia and handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Promoter's Privacy Policy (available at https://www.appliancesonline.com.au/privacy-policy.aspx). You may access, correct, or complain about your information by contacting the Promoter. If you do not provide required information, your entry may be invalid. Data will not be sold or shared with third parties except for prize fulfillment or as required by law.

9. Intellectual Property and User-Generated Content

By entering, you grant the Promoter and Haier Australia a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish, and display your entry (including comments, tags, and shared posts) for promotional, marketing, and advertising purposes without compensation or further notice. You warrant that your entry is original, does not infringe third-party rights, and you have permission to tag others (who must also consent to entry). The Promoter may remove or disqualify entries that breach this.

10. General Terms

● Changes/Cancellation: The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Promotion at any time due to circumstances beyond its control (e.g., technical failures, force majeure). Notification will be posted on the Appliances Online Facebook page.

● Disqualification: The Promoter may disqualify entries or entrants for tampering, fraud, or breaching Terms/Facebook rules. Multiple logins/accounts per person are prohibited.

● Social Media Platform: This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc. (trading as Facebook or Instagram). You release Meta from all liability. All entries must comply with Facebook's Promotions Guidelines and Community Standards.

● Permits: As a game of skil l with no entry fee, no trade promotion permit is required. If circumstances change, details will be updated.

● Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees, and agents) excludes all liability for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment suffered as a result of participating in the Promotion or accepting a prize (including indirect/consequential loss). This does not exclude liability under the Australian Consumer Law for death, personal injury, or fraud. The Promoter is not responsible for entries lost, delayed, or corrupted due to technical issues, Facebook outages, or entrant error.

● Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of New South Wales.

● Severance: If any provision is held invalid, the remainder remains in effect.
