Where is Appliances Online based?

Our head office is in Sydney, New South Wales. This is where our customer service centre is based where product experts are waiting to take your call 24/7!

Our legendary delivery drivers are stationed in warehouses all around Australia, ready to bring our amazing range to your door. We have our own warehouses in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, and Adelaide.

We will typically deliver your order from the warehouse closest to your delivery address. We have our own warehouses located in NSW, VIC, WA, QLD, and SA.

  • If you live in the ACT, stock will come from our NSW warehouse and delivered by our own drivers. We don’t offer installation in ACT but check the free connection section
  • If you live in TAS or the NT, we share warehouses with other suppliers and retailers, resulting in extended delivery times. But don’t worry! We will keep you updated every step of the way.

We are a retailer of appliances from a trusted selection of Australian and international brands. While different brands manufacture their products in different countries, all products sold at Appliances Online are imported to our Australian warehouses before being sold to you.

No, we only sell brand new products backed by a full Manufacturer’s Warranty. Appliances Online deals directly with manufacturers, so we do not sell factory seconds or second-hand products.

Yes, the majority of the products you purchase from Appliances Online are backed by a full Manufacturer's Warranty. This is in addition to any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law. For additional peace of mind, you can opt for an extended Customer Care Plan, which is available for purchase when you place your order. For more information, see our Warranty Page.

When placing your order online, you can pay with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or PayPal. We also have a range of flexible Buy Now, Pay Later options including Zip Pay, Afterpay, and Klana.

No. Although Appliances Online has its own warehouses, delivery networks, and an Australia-based customer service centre, we do not have showrooms or physical stores.

Delivery FAQs

Does Appliances Online deliver to my location?

We deliver to 95% of Australians, so we probably deliver to you! To check if we deliver to your postal address, type your postcode in the field at the top of our website.

Please note, we’re unable to deliver to PO (Post Office) Boxes.

We offer next-day delivery to most Australian metropolitan areas, as well as selected regional centres.

To check if we can deliver the next day or what days we deliver to your area, type your postcode in the field at the top of our website, add an instock item to your cart and proceed to the calendar in the checkout. This will show you the available delivery days.

Appliance Online’s legendary next-day delivery is free Monday to Friday!!! We also offer Saturday delivery for an additional fee.

You can also choose our premium delivery where you can select your delivery window for a fee. See our Delivery Service page for more details.

In metropolitan areas, we can do free, next business day delivery, provided the item is currently in stock and you complete your order prior to your state's cut-off time below. If you order on a Saturday or Sunday, the earliest we can deliver is the following Tuesday.

We usually deliver during business hours, but sometimes it’s as early as 6:30am or as late as 7pm.

Yes, we’ll keep you updated! On the morning of delivery, our drivers will text you between 6:30am-11:30am, providing you with a 2-hour delivery window. They will also call you when they are 30 minutes away and when they have arrived. If you are one of the first deliveries of the day, the drivers will contact you as they’re leaving the warehouse, giving you as much notice as possible.

We take deliveries for the next day up until midnight, so we can only provide the window on the morning of delivery. The time frames are generated by an app that factors in the location of each customer and creates the most efficient route for the driver.

Appliances Online offers a Premium Delivery service, allowing you to select a 2-hour delivery window to better fit your schedule. Availability of the premium delivery service is subject to your delivery postcode. You can purchase this premium window for $75 and select a 2-hour window between 6am and 6pm.

Yes! As long as the appliance can fit through the stairway, our team of professionals will deliver it for you!

The driver will contact you, advising they will have to move on, and we will attempt delivery on the next available day that suits you.

It is free to change your delivery date up to the business day prior to your original delivery date.

No, there is no additional fee for redelivery. Our legendary delivery service is free!

Yes, someone can accept your delivery if you are unable to, as long as you notify us before or even on the day of delivery. The person accepting your delivery will need to provide a valid photo ID and will need to sign for the product. If possible, please also provide the mobile number of the person taking delivery, just to make sure everything runs smoothly for you and our drivers!

The drivers will text you on the mobile number you provided when placing your order.

In areas where we offer free delivery by our own trucks, we can also connect and install the following appliances free of charge:

  • Fridges: excluding specialised plumbing services
  • Washing machines and washer-dryer combos: excluding washing machine pedestals and anti-flood devices
  • Dryers: excluding dryers that require wall-mounting, stacking kits or additional plumbing
  • Microwaves: excluding trim kits
  • Dishwashers
  • Electric stoves, ovens and cooktops
  • Gas stoves, ovens and cooktops
  • Rangehoods
  • Dryer installations (wall-mounting and stacking installations)
  • Changes to cabinetry for anti-flood device installation for washing machines
  • Additional plumbing work for fridges with plumbed in water & ice dispensers

Yes, installation that requires one of our certified plumbers, electricians, carpenters, or gas plumbers affects the date for delivery, as they get booked out. To check the next available day for delivery and installation, add the selected item to the cart with the installation box ticked and proceed to the checkout. The calendar in the cart will indicate the next available date.

In metropolitan areas and selected regional centres where we deliver with our own trucks, you can also request that we remove your old appliance for recycling - simply select the Removal option in the shopping cart during checkout when ordering. Note that the old appliances being removed must be similar to the new appliance being delivered, and it must be fully disconnected from any power, water or gas supplies (gas disconnections must be performed by a licensed plumber) prior to our arrival.

Installation FAQs

Can the installation team deliver and install on the same day?

Absolutely! Why take 2 days off work when your installer will deliver and install all in the same visit!

The standard install price applies to like-for-like replacement and/or a new install when connecting to existing gas, electrical and/or plumbing services without any additions and/or modifications to services or cabinetry.

Any additions, modifications or changes to existing services, cabinetry etc will be quoted and will incur additional charges. eg: power points, circuit upgrades, bench cuts, plumbing, drainage, waterpoints & taps, ducting, cabinetry, extension hoses, timber or stainless steel panels & surrounds.

While this is sometimes the case, these can also be installed by any of our installers and they are typically done by our General Installers.

The Australian Standard specifies the following minimum clearances

600mm - Cooktop to Rangehood - From highest point of the highest burner (or electric element) to the underside of the rangehood

750mm - Cooktop to exhaust fan or underside of overhead combustable surface

However the Cooktop and Rangehood manufacturers also specify a minimum clearance.

Some rangehood manufacturers require greater clearance above induction cooktops.

The rangehood must be installed at the greater of these 3 specified heights in order to be compliant and avoid voiding warranty etc.

NB: The minimum height requirements are applicable regardless of whether we are installing the cooktop or rangehood. ie: Even if only installing a cooktop, this cannot be installed if the rangehood height is insufficient. 

The purpose of a quote is to determine what work is required to complete an install and provide the customer with a price for these works.

We will assess the required works, check circuit capacity, measure openings, clearances, cavities etc but we cannot uninstall appliances to do so.

Some examples of limitations are:

  • We can only measure accessible areas. ie We cannot quote accurately on what we can't access and see.
  • We cannot see or check ducting & power etc behind a rangehood flu or within a bulkhead.
  • We cannot measure a cooktop cutout if there is an oven beneath it preventing access.
  • We can check circuit capacity at the switchboard but we cannot identify potential problems within walls or behind ovens etc
  • We cannot provide an accurate quote if the customer has not selected a product.

All quotes are subject to variation if necessary. If issues such as the above examples are found when commencing the install, thus requiring additional work, a variation may be necessary at additional cost to the customer.

As soon as our installer has verified all of the requirements on site, your quote will be sent directly to your email address that same day.

Some appliances can be ordered in either NG or LG gas. For those that cannot, it may be necessary to convert the appliance in some cases.

If an appliance requires conversion from NG to LPG or vice versa, this is not included in the standard installation price and Gas Conversion fee is applicable.

Product FAQs

What if the product I wish to purchase is not in stock?

Please contact one of our friendly representatives either via email, live chat or calling our 24/7 number 1300 000 500 and they will be able to check the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) of the stock with the manufacturer. Alternatively, our product experts can recommend similar products in stock.

If your product has not been delivered, we can cancel your order and process a full refund (excluding proforma items). Alternatively, if you wish to change the product to something else before delivery, we can change your order for you and you will either pay the difference if the new product is more expensive or we will refund you the difference if it is cheaper! Just contact one of our friendly representatives either via email, live chat or calling our 24/7 number 1300 000 500.

You will receive an email confirmation once our accounts department processes the refund. The funds will take 3-5 business days to return back to the account you initially paid with.

If you notice an appliance has been delivered to you in a damaged condition, you must report it to our customer service team on 1300 000 500, within 7 days from the date of delivery.

If your item has not been unboxed and packaging remains intact, we are able to return the item for a full refund, if notified within 7 days of the date of delivery. If your item has been unboxed and is unused, we can provide a store credit minus a restocking fee of 20% of the invoiced value, if notified within 7 days of the date of delivery. Your refund or credit will be processed once the item has been returned and assessed to be in good condition.

RRP (recommended retail price) is the price which the manufacturer recommends that the retailer sell the product. At Appliances Online our prices are usually lower than RRP as we like to provide savings to our customers all year round.
