5.) How many power modes does the Dyson Cyclone V10 have?
There are three power modes on the Dyson V10. You can adjust the power level of the vacuum based on what you’re cleaning. If you’re cleaning a dirty carpet, or using the mini motorized tool to clean your mattress, the MAX setting is ideal. If you’re cleaning hardwood floors, the middle and lower settings are ideal.
6.) What does the direct drive cleaner head do?
The direct drive cleaner head is great for deep-cleaning carpets. The stiff nylon bristles dig up ground-in dirt and clean your carpets well. Not only carpets, the direct drive cleaner head can clean selected hard floors as well.
7.) Is the direct drive cleaner head motorised?
Yes, a small motor inside the vacuum head is powered by the high-capacity lithium battery in the V10. This motor spins the brush bar and the nylon bristles to make light work of dirty carpets and floors.
8.) What is the soft roller cleaner head used for?
The soft roller cleaner head is designed to pick up small and large pieces of debris simultaneously. This is a motorized tool, and as such it spins quickly, and rapidly collects dirt from hard floors. The soft roller cleaner head can easily be cleaned and disassembled for maintenance. Refer to the instruction manual for detailed instructions.
9.) Is the soft roller cleaner head motorised?
Yes it is. The small motor in the soft roller cleaner head is powered by the lithium battery that lives at the base of the V10 body. This roller spins rapidly to collect large and small bits of debris simultaneously.
