While there are benefits to mixing digitally and with vinyl, if you want a hands-on experience while creating your music, you will want to go with vinyl. Having a physical collection to flick through, and even cuddle, can take your performances to a whole new level. If you wish to get the same experience of playing vinyl without a roomful of records, then a program like Serato DJ or Rekordbox DJ is an optimal choice. These programs utilise time-coded vinyls and a physical interface, such as the Pioneer DJ INTERFACE2, to select and play songs on your vinyl deck; all without changing the record.

If vinyl doesn’t appeal to your particular taste, DJing is easy with any of the digital players and controllers available from Pioneer DJ.
