This is a follow-up to the review I posted on Sat, 30 Jul 2022 15:43:30 GMT. As suggested in Suunto's reply, I contacted the customer support team, who could only confirm my analysis and say they would escalate my suggestions to the development team. I hoped that upgrading the software to its latest version (2.23.20) would bring at least a couple of improvements based on my suggestions made 4 months ago. Unfortunately not: de-activating "Energy saving" still requires at least 13 key presses, displaying the Altitude screen still requires 5 presses including a longer "pause" on the HR screen. Hence my 2 stars only... After reading on the 9 Peak Pro page: "We also completely redesigned the user interface, making it even more intuitive to use and easier to read", I look forward to the availability of this new redesigned interface on the 9 Peak. If the UI flaws dealt with in my first review are not addressed at last, I will regretfully sell my 9 Peak as second hand, and buy another brand. Too bad since I had been very satisfied with my Suunto X6 for more than 15 years.

It is a watch that is powerful in its simplicity. Excellent heart rate sensor But the watch face is not as much as it should be. It should be possible to add music to the watch.
