So much that when I was 19, I decided to spend 3000£ to undergo laser treatment for a year on full legs and bikini line. I simply hate hair on my body and the thought of being free from it seemed like a dream. And it was! After a few months of completing the full course of treatments I had to start waxing again. It was a complete waste of money and, I had worked really hard for it. It was a let down and I didn’t want to hear about laser of IPL anymore! Ten years later, a few friends started raving about the Philips Lumea and I couldn’t help but tell them my story. Then, other friends and coworkers sent me pictures and text messages of their personal results using Lumea so I decided to give it a go. I’m honest and I wasn’t expecting much but I was Wrong! I am so happy I decided to give it a go with this product. My only regret is Not using the Lumea Advance sooner. But don’t think you will do it in a blink of an eye! Even if you buy the Lumea which is an EXCEPTIONAL PRODUCT, you will need to be committed and constant! Follow the instructions and have patience. You will very soon see results. THANK YOU PHILIPS!. I’m attaching a picture of my leg after 3 weeks and my second use. You can clearly see hair growing in “stripes”. This is most probably because these are the “lines” that I’ve missed. So I decided to use a white eye kohl to assist me reducing the space between one treated areas and the next one.

I’m still going through the treatment stages but so far so good, my hair is thinner and not growing as quick, fingers crossed it will all be gone soon

I did a lot of research before finally buying this product. I have pale skin and strong dark hair, so from all the information I’d read I guessed I’d have a good combination for reasonable results. I usually epilate my legs and armpits and get my bikini waxed. But I’d started having problems with waxing and depilatory creams ie allergic reaction. So whilst I’d considered an IPL I hadn’t wanted to pay out fo much in one go. One day my husband decided to shave his chest and then followed up using my epilator. After 10 seconds of shouting words I can’t put in a review he said “we are buy one of those Phillips IPL things”. So we bought one and we are both totally in love with it. After 2/3 uses his chest is almost totally hair free and smooth as silk. My arm pits are almost completely bald too. My legs have patches that are clearly hair free too. My bikini line is coming along really nicely too. It’s easy to use, quick and having an other half or friend to assist with backs if legs and arm outs is a really bonus. So far really pleased with this and loving the app that reminds me when we are due a treatment. As me if I’d swap it for waxing or anything the answer would be no. I used to pay £50+ every 4 weeks for waxing which would last about 2 weeks before the regrow they showed too much and I’d have terrible ingrowing hairs. I haven’t had any issues with this. So this is pain free, effective and easy to use at home - what’s not to love.
