    Good value all round rower
    I was happy with my purchase 605 magnetic rower - wasn’t sure at first it would have enough resistance but I’ve used it several times and it’s more than enough (in fact on highest level 16) it’s quite difficult and has a great range. Seems durable, solid and electronic display is good. The only minor things are that the handle is a little thicker than preferred but I’m getting use to it and the foot rests are a little wider apartment than what I’m use to - but again getting use to this adjustment. Overall would recommend.

    Doesn't appear to have a low resistance setting
    I worked a few years ago with a physiotherapist who was on the Australian rowing team competing internationally. He would get on the rowing machine and row for 2 hours with his heart rate at 150 bpm. He said that the mistake people in gyms make is dialling the resistance on the rowing machine up too high (9-10) whereas he used to sit on a level of 3. His comment was that any greater resistance just risked injury. This machine has resistance ranging from 1-16. Even at 1 it is harder to row than a machine I used at a gym on level 3 (with options of 1-10). I find it tiring and heavy work on my biceps so only use it for short stints. I'm hoping to be able to slowly build the strength in my biceps and my stamina but this is not what I had hoped for. It would have been better for me if it just didn't work so I could legitimately send it back but as it is, I feel compelled to keep it. Underscores the difficulties of buying fitness equipment online without being able to try it out first.

    This rowing machine is of average quality. The resistance even on level 1 is very hard. It’s unlike any other rower I’ve used. Also, won’t fold despite following all instructions for assembly and folding.
