Appliances Online wins two ORIA awards!

The Online Retail Industry Awards were held last night, and Appliances Online won the two biggest titles:
• Best Customer Experi
ence
• Best Site Optimisation and Design
Held at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, the ORIAs are the only awards in Australia that recognise and reward excellence in online retailing.
Our CEO John Winning said being awarded the Best Customer Experience trophy two years in a row is the most important award Appliances Online could win.
“Our aim is to impress every customer. Even though we are an online retailer, our model is one that builds old-fashioned customer service into every aspect of the shopping experience. We listen to customer feedback and offer things such as free delivery, phone service available 16 hours a day, seven days a week, next day delivery to most metropolitan areas, and 360 degree camera imaging technology. Being online doesn’t mean you don’t have to deal with our customers, in fact we want to create loyal relationships that last into the next generation,” he said.
The ORIA judging panel praised Appliances Online for our delivery service, which often includes connection (for products that do not require a licenced tradesman) and removal and recycling of old appliances.
Appliances Online was also commended on the way our website enhances the customer experience by providing detailed product information, large images, intuitive navigation, an advanced search function, and an easy-to-use checkout.
As a company Appliances Online has grown exponentially over the past year, increasing the number of employees by 300% and expanding further into Queensland, Western Australia, and South Australia (to complement our existing presence in Victoria and New South Wales).
