Appliances Online’s 18ft Skiff Pirate Ship

The 2008-2009 Australian 18ft Skiff season is starting on Sydney Harbour this month and Appliances Online is proud to be the major sponsor of a boat for the 4th season in a row. This year we have built a brand new boat for the crew and we are hoping for some great results.
We have also decided that we wanted the Appliances Online boat to be something a little different that will stand out from the rest of the fleet and hopefully become the peoples’ favourite on board the spectator ferry.
We have employed 2 artists to turn our extremely high-tech, light weight, carbon fibre boat into a wooden pirate ship. I think the pictures below describe the concept a little better – remember, this boat is built out of carbon fibre which is the same material used to build most parts in a formula 1 race car.
