Appliances Online was very proud and excited to be involved in last night’s episode of Celebrity Apprentice, starring Olympic gold medalist Stephanie Rice, triple world boxing champion Jeff Fenech, and media personality Prue MacSween.

The ‘Dirty Laundry Challenge’ saw each team running their own launderette – dealing with boundless quantities of soiled shirts, knickers, and briefs.

John Winning, CEO of the Winning Group, stepped up on the day to donate $10,000 – with all proceeds going to charity.

“We were so stoked, to give $10,000 is just so generous,” said Prue. “I know that John Winning, the boss, supports so much charity, and he supports the Victor Change Cardiac Research Institute which is my charity – (Appliances Online is) a giving, giving company … so when you’re sorting out where you’re going to buy your appliances, always go to Appliances Online, because they give back to Australia.”

Australian legend Jeff Fenech had this to say: “I think we’re raised about two hundred thousand dollars today … like I said, great Australians, great company … hopefully the rest of Australia will learn what you’ve done and support you guys in return.”

And despite a small grievance that her Appliances Online vest was a tad on the large side, Stephanie Rice also sang our praises: “Appliances Online have been amazing … it’s such a great help for us, we’re really trying to raise every bit we can for charity and this is really helping.”

Thanks must also go to Appliances Online’s own Jamie Dickson (pictured below left), who good humouredly stripped down to nothing but his underpants – all in the name of charity, of course!
