At Appliances Online we take pride in going above and beyond. It’s all about our focus on delivering the best and most enjoyable shopping experience possible.

By way of example, we’d like to shine a light on one of our recent success stories.

The subject of this little tale is Anissa Donovan, a native of Helensvale, Queensland, and mother of six. Here she is pictured with one of our delivery drivers, Adam. She’s standing next to the immaculate new fridge we gave to her … free of charge!

What happened?

Well, earlier this year she bought a malfunctioning fridge from one of our competitors. Having spent over $1000 for the appliance, Anissa had hoped for something do the job – and do so with style. However, the fridge in question had a fairly fundamental problem: it wasn’t cooling things down.

“I had to constantly throw food out,” Anissa explains, “because the fridge was going up to 20 degrees all the time.”

The lowest point of this experience came when her four year old daughter, having eaten something from the fridge, ended up in hospital for three days with food poisoning.

Meanwhile, both the store and the manufacturer were both, at various stages, incapable or unwilling to help, despite her repeated requests.

We got wind of Anissa’s plight when she posted details of it on our Facebook page.

And we wanted to help her out. Not only are we interested in going the extra mile to earn the trust and loyalty of customers – we also just like to make people happy!

Contacting her, we offered to give her a brand new, brilliantly functional fridge – delivered to her home, free of charge. Having already spent a considerable sum on an appliance – and suffered  a lot of angst and inconvenience in the process – we thought she deserved it! Result: a very happy, very relieved Anissa.

“I still cannot believe you guys gave me a new fridge,” she said, “After all the hassles, I am so very appreciative of it. Please accept my warmest thanks to you and the team at Appliances Online.”

It’s more proof we are committed to ensuring you get the appliance solution you need as quickly and as conveniently as possible.
