Appliance News

On Friday 30th November, Appliances Online cooked a festive barbeque lunch for our friends over at Electrolux. Employing over 150 staff in their New South Wales office, Electrolux has a very strong relationship with Appliances Online and it was lovely to be able to take the time out from our busy scedules to say thank you.

Here we all are, stylishly attired in our safety vest best, enjoying a tour of the Electrolux warehouse:

Our General Manager Peter Harris (the tall man up the back directly behind the suspiciously cheerful mustachioed man) had this to say:

“Electrolux is one of our preferred suppliers and a great company to do business with, and all their staff are really fabulous when we have any needs so we thought we’d repay them with a little barbeque leading up to Christmas. Electrolux are very similar with us in the way they deal with their customers and the way they deal with their products, and it’s great to come out here and actually see it and speak to people and see how they do business.”

Electrifying Electrolux Facts

•    Approximately 20 fully loaded trucks leave the NSW Electrolux warehouse every day
•    The Electrolux call centre answers approximately 3,700 calls per day
•    More than 19,000 spare parts are held in the Electrolux warehouse in Adelaide

Key Account Executive Ryan Lilley thoroughly enjoyed the lunch, saying:

“We were blown away – I got an email no more than half an hour ago from a lady who has been with us for 25 years and extended a big thank you to Appliances Online for what you’ve put on. No customers have ever offered to do that for the call centre who are really the unsung heroes of our company, so great offer and we appreciate that you’ve taken the time to do it.”

To all our friends at Electrolux, we wish you a joyful Christmas and a prosperous New Year!
