This is a strong machine with a really strong wash action (massive bottom impeller) and has a good speed spinner. Both wash tub and spinner are deceptively large and will take a far bigger load than many/most washing machines. The impeller size means even at full capacity the wash action doesn't slow down or lag. The 2 speeds say Gentle and Normal. But in comparison it's more like Average Normal and Holy Toledo! A good strong wash in very little time instead for waiting on an auto for hours. I have given this machine 4 stars because in some aspects (the washing part) it's 5 stars plus. But there are some quirks which (for me) let down an otherwise very very good machine. Some things to be aware of. - The outlet hose is short, just long enough to reach from one side to the other, and you need to have the machine next to the tub or outlet pipe. - On arrival, you might find your outlet hose does not reach to the sides fully. Have a look on the back for a plastic tab that secures the hose for shipping. - The filler hose that comes with the machine is very very small, and won't fit over the mouth of most taps. Take the hoses off your own machine and use them as a filler hose for this one. You just run the hose into the tub, it doesn't need a special connection, not going through the machine inlet for the wash tub. - For the average family with work clothes, sports clothes and linen and general dirtiness, and you are on sewerage, you will love this machine! However, if you are on a farm or property, and your clothes have animal hair, grit and grass seeds, be aware that the filter does not filter things like this. It stays in the water, and later drains out via the holes in the massive impeller. That will then go down your drain, which could be an issue for septics. I recommend using some kind of filter on or under the outlet hose when emptying. I'm very happy to recommend BOTH Appliances online AND ALSO Lemair as companies who went above and beyond when I was trying to find a way to get this machine to catch the hair and debris during the wash cycle.

simple to use, washes well and great load space - only negative is hose is a bit too short
