We can now confidently say that ILVE’s range of prestige appliances are great for entertaining, having sampled their delicious results firsthand and learned all about their innovative special features, such as induction teppanyaki and 2-minute pizza.

To celebrate ILVE’s appliances becoming available on Appliances Online for the first time, a group of Appliances Online staff were fortunate enough to visit the ILVE showroom and head office in Leichhardt, NSW, to check out ILVE’s range in person.

ILVE Australia managing director, Jamey Colbert, and his team were there to greet us, and in the tradition of Italian hospitality, it didn’t take long for them to prepare us some delicious food.  It helped that most ILVE ovens include a Quick Start Pre-Heat Mode, which brings the oven to cooking temperature in 6-8 minutes, meaning that even if you’re so busy preparing dinner that you forget to turn the oven on, it isn’t the end of the world.

And they look great, too!

The entire showroom was filled with spectacular ovens in both traditional and modern styles, with every one 75% hand-made and 100% hand-assembled, which makes them very easy to service when required.

Getting the whole range of appliances set up in the showroom must have taken a lot of man-hours…

One oven of note was the ILVE 645SLZV Pizza Oven, which not only heats up quickly like the other ILVE ovens, but can blast out a supernova of 400-degree heat that cooks a traditional Italian pizza in two minutes flat.  Forget all that “delivered in half an hour or it’s free” business – this is true pizza convenience!

Another example of ILVE using high-quality technology to provide amazing results is the induction teppanyaki plate on the Freestanding ILVE Electric Oven/Stove PW90IMP.  In addition to the gas burners of this oven’s cooktop, its induction hotplates can help you fry precisely and boil quickly, and adding the fitted teppanyaki plate to the induction surface provides you with an unprecedented level of control when grilling.

The ILVE team even dropped hints of future releases to come, including a built-in oven incorporating an iced water dispenser and coffee machine – almost an entire kitchen in a single convenient unit…
