A Night With Chef Tetsuya and Electrolux Induction Cooktops

Appliances Online was invited by Electrolux to a night with the world famous Chef Tetsuya Wakuda.

The evening began with a Master Class run by Tetsuya at Electrolux Head office.

Chef Tetsuya cooked a mixture of amazing dishes utilizing one of the Electrolux Induction Cooktops. From his signature dish Confit of Ocean Trout, through to an amazing Shabu Shabu of Wagyu Beef.

To demonstrate the precision and safety of Electrolux Induction Cooktops, Chef Tetsuya boiled his dashi stock in a woven basket lined with cooking paper. To bring the stock to a boil, Tetsuya placed a piece of ferrous metal into the basket to create the magnetic field that induces the heat. The stock came to a boil but the basket and paper remained untouched.

Tetsyua demonstrated how easy it is to keep the cook top clean because it does not heat up like a conventional cook top. He was also delighted and amazed at the control and precision he gained from using Electrolux Induction Cooktops.
