Appliances Online boss responds to ACCC media campaign

Appliances Online chief, John Winning, has supported a recent media campaign by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) by saying that value and customer service is the paramount feature of his retail business.

The aim of the campaign is to highlight to consumers their rights in relation to faulty products and poor service. Winning said the company works to “impress every customer”, every day of the year with old fashioned customer satisfaction values.

Winning is encouraging customers to call the company if they should experience an issue.

“At Appliances Online, we live by our exceptionally high customer service values and our aim is to impress every customer,” Winning said.

“If there is ever a problem we encourage our customers to call our customer support centre which is open 16 hours a day, every day of the year. On top of this, we have a full time customer experience team who will look after customers long after the product has been purchased and delivered – answering, and solving, any problem a customer might have.

If phone doesn’t suit, customers can also email, chat, or comment on our Facebook page and one of our staff members will respond within minutes. We are there for our customers, and encourage feedback and communication.”

The Appliances Online Facebook page delivers online support and appliance ideas. It has also become a space for over 200,000 fans to interact, offering each other tips and advice about their appliance purchases and use.
