    Overview

This 60cm induction cooktop offers precise, instant-response cooking performance and energy efficient induction technology.

There are four cooking zones available for versatile cooking, each with immediate and precise heat control, including a boost function for when time is of the essence. A 'cool to touch' induction surface only heats when a pot or pan is placed on the surface, making for a safer family kitchen environment. The elegant slider touch controls are a pleasure to use, and can be locked in order to prevent any meddling of your settings.

Cleaning is made easy thanks to the sleek black glass finish, a quick wipe after you’re done cooking will keep your cooktop looking as good as new.
    Rapid heating for busy lives

Boasting induction cooking technology, plus the option of a boost function, this cooktop heats up your pots and pans quickly so you can get the results you're after sooner.

    High energy efficiency

Induction cooktops generate heat directly into your compatible cookware, rather than the cooktop itself heating up. This results in less heat loss and far greater energy efficiency.

    Safer cooking

Because induction technology only heats when a pot or pan is placed on the surface, the unit provides a safer worktop than other cooktop types.

    Easy cleaning

The cooktop's shiny smooth black glass surface resists dirt and food build-up, making it easier to clean. A quick wipe with a damp cloth after cooking is complete is enough to keep it looking its best.

    Happy to be back!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sleek as expected, heats very quickly as expected but the functions work much better than expected! So happy we bought it - I had previously owned an induction cooktop but changed it to the standard cooktop because it was hyper sensitive so I was a bit sceptical when we needed to replace the cooktop - I have been pleasantly surprised. It is touch sensitive but not that it switches itself off if you spill a drop of hot water on it. Actually quite intuitive to use. I like the locking feature. Good quality, as one expects from Haier

    Does the job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well, much easier to clean than old gas cooktop

    Usable
Does the job. Has 9 power levels, from 9 down to 7 it appears to regulate the power, below that it just turns on and off with a 6 second period, so not suited to very careful simmering. To turn on an element quickly, you can use “boost”, otherwise you have to step it up from 0. Once in boost, you can’t step down, you have to press boost again, then step down. There’s no way to quickly turn off an element, you have to step it all the way down to 0. The buttons are rather faintly labeled, the + and - especially are rather hard to see in dim light. If you run an element at high power for a while, it appears to drop way down in power, barely simmering. You can move to another element if needed. Assuming this is circuit protection from overheating. It has a rather loud cooling fan, which will turn on even when using only one element at less than full power. Overall, not bad for the price.
