 I bought this one decause it had a dial not a program. This is my second dislex and I once had a Hoover. Both died of aold age. The one this dislex replaced was a 2 year old SMEG and the cockroaches had eatern the mother board for the computer.
The dishlex has a more realistic and usable space than the SMEG and I hope the dial version will last for years like my old dislex.

 This is a fair bit smaller than my old dishwasher. Especially when it comes to washing mixing bowls, pots etc. the racks are not removable so some of the awkward shaped stuff and pots are hard to fit in. I often have dishes left over to put in the next load. But it washes really well and is very quiet. There are not a lot of wash options and I find that refreshing as I only used a few on my old machine anyway. A good plain, functional dishwasher. It would be great if the bottom racks were removable though.

This is a very simple dishwasher (less to go wrong!!) and is really excellent value for money. The eco/short wash is very effecxtive but the best wash, naturally, is the long wash. I find the quality of the rinse aid used makes a difference.

Only had this for a month, but we have been very happy with our Dishlex. It is very quiet when running and does a good job on cleaning the dishes. Only thing I didn't like was the cutlery tray - the holes were too small for our knives and forks. We are using the tray from our old machine and all is good!

Good, except that nothing stays upright on the
top shelf, so when you close the door all the glasses and
plates fall over. Difficult to stack on the top shelf.
Does not take as much as the previous old one so one has to
wash more frequently.

I was not sure about buying a major applience online but I read some good reviews of your service. I probably gave too much lead time but was pleasently surprised when I got a warning phone call it was comming next day. I was told next morning and it was so early I could easily go to work afterwoods. They took the old one away.

I think Appliances on line are fantastic. The customer service was terrific (thanks Dave for the advice). I bought 3 appliances and was nervous about the amount of money I had to outlay. I did my reserch and appliances on line were the cheapest by far, even the discount stores. The web site is so easy to navigate and compare appliances. They discounted delivery for me and I live in a small coastal town which usually costs the earth to deliver to. They delivered on a day that suited me and the driver kept me informed about his estimated time of arrival. He was prompt, friendly and set it all up for me. Took my old appliances away for free as well. I dont think I would bother getting appliances from anywhere else- ever!

Very professional service.
Probably the only thing that we had to wait a few weeks for the Dishwasher - Thats ok however, I think a follow up phone call closer to the delivery date to let me know what was happening would have been good.

First time user - easy as.......from getting the best quote (emails discussing quotes returned same day) to the delivery boys - all so easy and quick and precisely as explained on the website. The website was really good for first time users and the extent of info easy to find for the typical questions I had (show me the product, dimensions, how soon can I get the product, when through the day will it be delivered, what if it's faulty etc etc).

A It is the manufacturer's recommendation that you do not connect to hot water as it may damage parts and will also void warranty. The machine has a heating element within it that will heat water.

A This model has a removable worktop so that you can put it under the bench. With the lid removed it is 820-830mm high.

Q I want to replace an old Dishlex Global 300 which has a height of 820cm, I notice all the new models say 850cm for a freestanding. Could you advise if you have ANY dishwasher that will fit in my tight 830cm height space under a bench? I'm desperate and don't mind what the brand is?

A Almost all dishwashers are between 595 and 600mm wide. These dimensions have been standard for dishwashers for at least 20 years.
It would be best to confirm the available width of your cavity space or at the very least measure the width of your current dishwasher.
This particular machine is 600mm wide, all dimensions are shown on every dishwasher on our site, you can also filter the results on the left hand side by width height and depth.
If your available space is slightly under 600mm there are some models that should work for you.

Q I intend to replace a 20 year old Dishlex D/washer which is connected to HOT water. Can DX203WK be connected to HOT water?

A The Dishlex Dishwasher DX203WK must be connected to COLD water only. Dishwashers now have an internal element (2000W) which heats up the water for cleaning. If hot water is connected this will cause breakages of seals and safety valves. This machine if connected incorrectly will not be covered by warranty.
