What is EOFY?
EOFY stands for End of Financial Year and it's the day that businesses must finalise their financial records for the year, including all income and expenses. In Australia EOFY is always on June 30. In the days leading up to the EOFY, businesses offer big discounts, sales and deals to clear stock and get a healthy balance sheet before the tax year wraps.
