Standard warranty
All our products come with full manufacturer's warranty. Note that you'll need the
tax invoice from your purchase to make a claim. If you lose your original tax invoice,
please let us know, and we'll re-issue it.
Commercial warranty
If you're buying something that will be used in a commercial environment, the manufacturer's
warranty covers a maximum of the first 3 months only. Note that all Westinghouse,
Kelvinator, Chef, Simpson, Electrolux and Dishlex dishwashers come with no commercial
warranty.
Extended warranty and business warranty
Appliances Online offers an extended warranty that covers parts and labour required
for repair of goods that suffer mechanical or electrical failure within Australia,
for a period of up to 3 years outside the term of the standard manufacturer's warranty.
(Subject to some
brief terms and conditions).
The extended warranty is offered by Wesfarmers General Insurance Limited trading
as Lumley Insurance ABN 24 000 036 279.
Payment
You can pay using...
You can pay with PayPal, Visa, MasterCard or American Express. By arrangement, you
can also use bank transfer (EFT) or Diners Club card (call 1300 000 500 to arrange
these options). Alternatively, you can pay on delivery (COD) with cash, cheque (bank
and personal cheques with matching ID) or credit card.
No transaction fees
Importantly, no matter which payment method you use, you won't pay any transaction
fees. We absorb them all.
Return policy
Damaged goods
If the goods you bought arrive damaged in any way, you can return them free of charge.
(If the damage can't be seen, you need to obtain confirmation of the damage from
the manufacturer before returning the goods to us.) Please call 1300 000 500 to
arrange return. Once you have returned the goods, you can choose to have us replace
them or refund you the purchase price plus return delivery fees.
Undamaged goods
If you do decide to return something that is not damaged, you can do so within 7
days of receiving it if it has not been unboxed. Note that an $80 collection fee
will apply. Please call 1300 000 500 for more details.
If the goods are to be returned within 3 days of receiving them, and they have been
unboxed at any point, a 20% re stocking fee will apply, as we can no longer sell
this product through Appliances Online (it is no longer new).

A very very good combination machine provided
you understand the limitations of these machines. As a
washer alone it is a very good and very quiet high capacity
washing machine, quiet even on high-speed spin. For
effective washing/drying in a single operation you need to
load it to no more than half capacity, then the contents
come out ready to hang in the cupboard or fold into drawers.
Cycle times are of course long in wash&dry, but this
is perfect for a wash put on just before going to bed or
just before leaving for work. On waking or returning home
the wash is done and dried and ready to put away or wear.
Just be careful if mixing loads: one heavy item with a lot
of light items will result in the light items (business
shirts) fully dry and the heavy item (a towel) slightly damp
- the heavy item then just needs airing (not line-drying)
for a few hours. Peter

The plastic rim between the door and the tub
has a gap which collects water, small pieces of clothing and
lint...which therefore does not clean some garmets well.
After the wash has finished not all the garmets are at the
'bottom' of the tub - they can be stuck to the rim
and you need to feel around to find them i.e. socks and
knickers. Very user friendly but
would probably pay extra for an LG washer/dryer. Meredith

A The WD8704EJA will dry the clothes, but being a washer/dryer you can only dry half the wash load so you will have to do two lots of drying.
