This machine washes well, although it appears the powder doesn't dissolve well in the high efficiency mode (which uses roughly the same amount of water as a front loader). This is a problem when washing darks, as the powder leaves a residue on clothing. We are still experimenting with different wash cycles to see if we can overcome the problem without resorting to the conventional wash, which uses double the amount of water. Otherwise the machine is quiet and washes well. The flexibility in settings is excellent, and it's fairly easy to change the settings when required.
