Customer Product Review - 5kg Top Load Washing Samsung Machine SW50USP

After my last 5kg Samsung top loader with a split lid decided that 20-odd years was long enough to keep working [sigh... they just don't make products like they used to ;-) ] I opted for the Samsung again because of the overall reviews, a thorough read of the owners manual (it has more options than the other recommended model, and notable is the levels of water level adjustment), and also the split lid. We live in a tiny apartment and our laundry is a cupboard, so little things like that make all the difference, and I love being able to access all the controls with the lid open. So far haven't used all the cycles but the 'fuzzy' wash has been great for everything so far. The cycle is longer than our old one and I think it's a bit higher pitched through some bits noise-wise, but comparable with what my old one did. I wonder if anyone's figured out what the kitschy tune is at the end yet...
