 I'm no baker on any account but this bread maker is just perfect! Easy to use, perfect results every time (for whole grain, white and sour dough), and using the timer makes us wake up with the smell of lovely freshly baked bread. 2 thumbs up from me :-)

This new Panasonic convection microwave is living up to the high standard of my previous dimension 4 thats twenty four years old and still working but was too big to fit in my new kitchen all other brands are inferior to panasonic the wait was certainly worth it.

I owned a convection Panasonic for many years. I replaced it with this great new model, which is just as easy to use as the previous model. I would highly recommend this model as it can replace my oven, having convection, invertor technology, grill, microwave and oven. Fantastic appliance and very simple to use. Cooks roasts in half the time of a normal oven.

The Panasonic NN-ST557M seems to be a great
little unit so far. The lack of keypad means you need to
enter 7 minutes by touching the minute button 7 times and I
can see that getting annoying but well worth the couple of
hundred bucks id say.

I have operated the breadmaker daily for a year now. Its operation is simple, and it has worked very well with rye-wheat sourdough, bought bread mixtures, and blends of bought and home-ground flour. I cannot imagine it out of my life now. I have not explored all its functions, but timer-controlled bread-making has provided me with freash-baked bread each morning.

I have been trying for two months to get a convection microwave to fit the space in my kitchen and the local retailers have told me i wouldnt get one till the end of March. I ordered the appliance on a Sunday; I had a call from a 'real person' on Monday saying there was a stock problem and what did I want to do; I said 'no problem' and call me when it arrives; had a call the day before delivery saying the appliance had arrived, would be delivered tomorrow and that the courier would call me early in the day with a 2 hour window delivery time; he did and delivered it early in 'the window'. This has to stop guys, your competition can't compete!! Well done. Cheers - Clive.

Placing the order was quite straight-forward and the goods arrived when they said they would. Can't complain about that. Would be great if they could give an AM/PM estimate or call in the morning with such an estimate so that you dont have to stay home all day but the call an hour before was quite good. Free delivery is always a plus.

Q Does this model have a one minute cool down feature, that is once the cooking cycle is complete you have to wait a minute to allow the fan to stop operating?

A This Convection Microwave does have a cool down function. It lasts for one minute after the microwave has finished cooking. However, this function can be skipped at any stage. All you need to do is enter the time you wish to heat your food and press start to override the cool down function.

A Flatbead technology means that there is no turntable. Instead of your food needing spin around on a plate to get an even cook all round, it cooks from the bottom of the microwave so that it cooks evenly.

A As this is a convection microwave you are able to use this product as a normal microwave oven and also as a normal oven (yes place your metal dishes in it). You are able to grill and bake as a normal oven. However when you are using it as a microwave you are unable to use metal accessories.
Your machine will come with a user/instruction cook book all in one.
