Omega Slimline Dishwasher DW300XA
Works well, although our dinner plates do not fit. We thought the international standard would allow for a normal size dinner plate. It would be useful for
Appliances online to have more information on what size plates will fit not just the number of international setting that will fit. Belinda

Freestanding Upright Omega Electric Oven OF602XA
Omega Electric Oven is a wonderful change for
us after 25 years with the same oven. The oven cooks evenly,
to time and efficiently, and has encouraged me to cook more!
The energy saving cooktop is great to use, easy to clean,
and looks fresh and modern. The appliance is easy to use,
dials are clear and best of all it is easy to clean. I chose
this product from the website, after reading about its
specifications online. I am so happy with this oven! Francis

Omega Slimline Dishwasher DW300XA
The Omega dishwasher DW300XA is exactly what I wanted. It is efficient, quiet and an attractive unit that blends very well with my other appliances. Not having much room in my kitchen, I utilised a single cupboard space and the Omega fitted perfectly. Trudy

4kg Omega Dryer OCD40WA
Great light weight dryer, doesn't take up too much space. Unfortunately the lint filter is ridiculously awkward and time consuming to take apart and empty after each load. Bethany

Review for:
Omega Dishwasher DW602X
Somewhere between GOOD & POOR - about
halfway! I was disappointed that the unit was
only Free Standing and not Mobile. I made a plinth from
"4 x 2", attached 4 heavy duty casters and
now it is Mobile. My old Dishlex had a single connection
for inlet and discharge whereas this unit has a semi-rigid
inlet water pipe with an old fashioned screw connection. I
haven't seen a kitchen tap with this connection for
years, but have found a suitable adaptor. Have made a
"hook" connection on the end of the
discharge hose so it can discharge into the second sink.
The fastest cycle takes 30 minutes. (The Dishlex had a 15
min. cycle with hot water). Top tray isn't very well
designed to take mugs and small bowls. Bottom tray will not
take my dinner plates. However, if you choose that cheapest
model one has to put up with certain "deficiencies" Max

Omega Dishwasher DW602X
Dinner plates do not fit in the bottom tray -
at all! Dishwasher doesn't turn off once
it's finished its cycle. Difficult to stack -
prongs seem too close to each other. Emily

Freestanding Upright Omega Electric Oven OF602XA
Appliances Online-efficient, reliable,
outstanding! Outshines other retailers with their service,
communication and reliability. I cannot speak highly enough
of this company and their ability to provide quality
products at excellent prices, without losing anything on
customer service. Delivery was to the minute and delivery
men were helpful and considerate. This is service as it
should be. I would purchase a product from here again, even
if it meant changing to a brand that they sold, just to do
so. Detailed information about products is provided online,
which makes choosing what you require very easy. The site is
user friendly and allows for comparison between products.
Outstanding in all aspects. Francis

Q Can this rangehood be recirculating? If so, will I need to purchase and attach a piece of flexible duct?
Question for:
Omega Canopy Rangehood OR911CXA
Asked by
Morten
(24/06/2011 10:47:11 AM)
A Yes, this rangehood can be recirculating. You will need to purchase and attach a piece of flexible duct (this will blow air back into the kitchen to the direction you choose). You will also need to purchase charcol filters to take the smell out of the air.
Here is the information from the manual:
"RECIRCULATING THE AIR TO THE KITCHEN
When it is structurally impossible to duct the filtered air to the outside of the building, the filtered air is vented back into the kitchen via the recirculation vents in the side of the chimney. A more frequent inspection and washing of the metal grease filters is recommended for this mode of installation.
The easily-removable grease filters will isolate most of the grease, oil and food particles. These filters are washable using warm, soapy water or medium dishwasher program."

Q I have been told I cant put a convection microwave in the shelf (specially built for microwave)in my kitchen, that it needs to have a large amount of space around three sides and one side should be completely open, can you tell me if this is correct ?
Question for:
Omega Convection Microwave OM250CXA

Kerry

A This model is top vented: so you cannot put anything on top of it. However, it just needs 3-5cm ventilation gap on the sides, back, and top. You can put it in your shelf as long as there will be this much ventilation space.

Q What does an ioniser actually do physically? What are the benefits to the room environment and for a person's health?
Question for:
Omega Air Purifier OPAL
Asked by
Michael
(7/06/2011 12:07:17 PM)
A An ioniser uses electricity to produce negative ions which draw dust particles and bacterias from the air.
The Omega Air Purifier has a filter system which will collect these particles and bacteria into the machine. OPAL uses HAF Carbon Filters and reduces most air particles down to 0.1 Micron.
This process is said to make you feel better in general.

A The ODE20 is a dehumidifier that can be used in any size room. The bigger the room, the longer it will take to take the moisture out of the room. The more moisture in the room, the more you will need to empty the water storage tank.

Q Does it have hot and cold connections?
Question for:
Omega Washer Dryer OWD6000WA
Asked by
John
(1/09/2010 10:04:13 AM)
A All the Omega Washer Dryer Combo's use a heating element so you only need to connect it to a cold water tap. It has one hose out the back of the machine. It's not advised that you connect it to a hot water tap due to the heating element inside, because the programs are set for a cold water intake and it may not function properly.
