Your kitchen is more than just a room; it is the heart and soul of your home. This statement has been the cornerstone of Fisher & Paykel's product development and their establishing new appliance markets for over 70 years. Founded in 1934 by Maurice Paykel & Sir Woolf Fisher, the company has grown from humble beginnings as a small importer of Maytag and Crosley appliances to become one of New Zealand's most enduring and successful businesses. The company has top notch manufacturing sites located in Auckland, New Zealand; Borso del Grappa (TV), Italy; Rayong, Thailand and Reynosa, Mexico and have been bringing their mechanical marvels to Australia since 1968.
Fisher and Paykel Ltd. is made up of three wholly owned subsidiary companies: Production Machinery Limited (building production equipment), Dynamic Cooking Systems Inc (a company in the USA that manufactures indoor and outdoor cooking products) and Fisher & Paykel Italy (a company that manufactures European cooking products). The Fisher and Paykel product line is sold in over 80 countries. With a head office in New Zealand and offices in Australia, USA, Singapore, Taiwan and the UK, Fisher & Paykel maintain a true global presence. Fisher & Paykel Appliances Holdings Limited (FPA) is a publicly traded company and is listed on the New Zealand (NZX) and Australian (ASX) Stock Exchanges.

Fisher & Paykel are known as innovators in the appliance industry and for good reason. Their inventions include the extremely popular Dish Drawer dishwasher and the Smart Drive system used in their washers and dryers. Fisher & Paykel were also the original manufacturers of a single top/bottom mount fridge with water dispenser and the first to produce a top load washer with a 4-star water rating. Alongside these innovative products they also manufacture a large range of quality fridges and dryers. Fisher & Paykel's technological advancements and their unique characteristics have made them a household name in Australia and abroad. In fact, the Smart Drive™ clothes washer - which for the first time used a Brushless Direct Current Motor - was the flagship product that paved the way to brand recognition in Australia.
To touch a moment on the environmental impact of the Fisher & Paykel product line; all Fisher & Paykel products are designed to reduce energy and water consumption for the end user. Fisher and Paykel appliances strive to meet international standards such as MEPS (Minimum Energy Performance Statistics) and WELS (Water Efficiency Labelling System). This approach has led to the development of refrigerators that think for themselves to keep food fresher and cookers so smart they help clean themselves. Whether its washing machines that use half the water you normally use or dishwashers designed to wash as well as store your dishes - above all they believe in insight led design that is tailored to people's changing needs around the world.

Review for:
Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher DW60CDX2 Having had a FP double drawer machine before,
I am a bit disappointed with the quality of the wash of this
particular machine. Never had issues with items not being
perfectly clean with the double drawer, whereas I find that
with this one, I often need to rinse e.g a cup under the tap
afterwards. Also, it seems that even standard
size plates when stacked in lower tray are in the way of the
rotating water sprout underneath the top tray. I think this
is a serious design flaw which probably impacts on the
washing quality Michael

Review for:
7kg Top Load Fisher & Paykel Washing Machine WL70T60CW1 This machine washes well, although it appears the powder doesn't dissolve well in the high efficiency mode (which uses roughly the same amount of water as a front loader). This is a problem when washing darks, as the powder leaves a residue on clothing. We are still experimenting with different wash cycles to see if we can overcome the problem without resorting to the conventional wash, which uses double the amount of water. Otherwise the machine is quiet and washes well. The flexibility in settings is excellent, and it's fairly easy to change the settings when required. Belinda

4.5kg Fisher & Paykel Dryer DE45F56EW Seems to be a good budget to midrange dryer. It's very quiet which is nice in a small appartment. The door does seem quite flimsy and cheap but it's not as if I'm hanging of it so I'm not too fussed. Lint filter is very easy to get to at the front instead of the back of the drum which is handy. Review for:
5.5kg Top Load Fisher & Paykel Washing Machine MW512 We bought this washing machine because it was the top rated top loader in its size range by Choice Magazine. It's a good machine, cleans well, doesn't use a lot of powder and the wash cycle is quick. Very happy with our purchase. Linda

Review for:
7kg Top Load Fisher & Paykel Washing Machine WL70T60CW1 I do not like this machine. I have had clothes caught in the bottom of the bowl under a seam and the display panel is not user friendly. I can't use the water efficient cycle as the dark clothes come out covered with lint Jeanette

Review for:
7kg Front Load Fisher & Paykel Washing Machine WH70F60W3 I had never tried a front loading washing machine before and I was not aware that a 7kg top loading machine and a 7kg front loading machine had a different loading capacity. It appears to me that I can't fit as much in the front loading machine as I could in the top loading machine. This may be a useful comment for first time users of front loading machines. Chris

8kg Top Load Fisher & Paykel Washing Machine WL80T65CW1 We had 15 years out of our old F&P so we stuck with them. After ordering we read some pretty average reviews of our chosen appliance. After a month of use we would certainly recommend the quiet, effecient and effective F&P WL80T65CW1 Russell

Review for:
7kg Top Load Fisher & Paykel Washing Machine WL70T60CW1 The ordering and payment process was great. Easy and simple. Delivery took a few days rather than the next day, as we thought would be the case. The delivery men were courteous, although I found them difficult to understand as their English was limited. When I ordered our washing machine I didn't check to see if the hose that drains the machine was long enough for our laundry, so the men were unable to install the machine. I accept this was my fault, but the men were unable to suggest where I could purchase a hose that would fit our laundry set-up. This would have been helpful. Belinda

4.5kg Fisher & Paykel Dryer DE45F56EW Fantastic!!! I ordered a dryer online but my preferred delivery date was blocked out. Called Appliances Online on a Sunday at about 5.30pm before I placed my order, phone was answered straight away by a lovely lady who advised me she would be able to adjust the order to suit my preferred delivery date once I had made it.
The free pick up of the old dryer was also a big bonus, online shopping is the future and you guys have done it very well. Cheers! Ben

A The FD stands for 'Flat Door'. This means the front door panels of the fridge are flat. The E522BRX has curved front door panels. This is the only difference although the FD model is more expensive.
