Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher DW60CEX1 We're happy with the dishwasher considering how much we paid for it, although in hindsight maybe we should have spent more to get a better one. It is noisier than our old one and we find the loading and unloading is a little tricky as when you pull the bottom drawer out it comes off it's runner every time and is always hard to get back in. Fast wash is about 30 mins which we like, but wash quality is average. Normal wash is an hour and a half! Much longer than we're used to. It just generally feels like a cheap dishwasher, but it was so we can't really complain. Looks great in the kitchen. Sarah

I am a bit disappointed with the quality of the wash of this
particular machine. Never had issues with items not being
perfectly clean with the double drawer, whereas I find that
with this one, I often need to rinse e.g a cup under the tap
afterwards. Also, it seems that even standard
size plates when stacked in lower tray are in the way of the
rotating water sprout underneath the top tray. I think this
is a serious design flaw which probably impacts on the

Chose this one after reading reviews. It is a no-nonsense machine which washes beautifully. The major difference from the old machine is that it is much quieter so we are very happy. Not a high energy star rating but we can still customise for shorter cold water cycles, and it's very kind to the clothes so we are still doing our bit for the planet! Chris

A All you need to purchase is the Dryer (DE50F56E1). It comes with all the
materials to have it mounted. If you would like to have someone install
it on the wall for you, you can purchase Dryer Installation for $150.

A Yes, the Fisher & Paykel Fixed Rangehood HF60CSX2 is mounted to the
wall. In regards to needing a pipe to have it ducted, it is up to you.
It can be ducted or you could have it recirculate back into the room.
A Yes the F & P WA80T65GW1 does have the option to hold on the spin
cycle to allow the removal of drip dry garments before going into the
spin cycle and reduce creasing. Page 15 of the manual instructions (access available on our website) goes into more detail about this
option.
A You can do cold washes with liquid detergent designed for cold washes, but you will not get the same wash as if you use water 39 degrees and above. The enzymes in detergent that clean your clothes are only activated at 39 degrees.
Q Our current dishwasher is a Regency SA model 800HQ and is built in under a bench top. A repairer has advised that a Dishlex or Electrolux will fit as a replacement. Will this Fisher/ Paykel model fit, and be installed easily by a qualified repairman?

A Unfortunately we don't stock the Regency model you currently have so it is difficult for me to provide accurate information on whether our models can act as suitable replacements. The dimensions for the Fisher & Paykel model that you were interested in are: Maximum Height 870 mm, Minimum Height 850 mm, Width 600 mm, Depth 600 mm. If these match the space you have in your existing cavity then there should be no issues in replacing the model.
Q Hello - when you install do you use the existing door and handle? My older model is not like this one in design, is this a problem?

A If the custom panel has been created for a fully integrated model, and you have paid for installation, our installer will connect the panel to the front of your new dishwasher. If the panel will not fit on the front of your new unit and you were requiring installation of the dishwasher and panel, you will need to have a new panel created, or the current panel altered to fit before our installer will attach it to your new dishwasher. As long as the panel fits the appliance the installer will be able to connect it up.
Q Can this dryer be installed upside down to be able to reach controls?
