This is the best vacuum I have ever owned. It goes from carpet to hard floors easily and without stopping thanks to the brush head. It picks up dirt and pet hair easily and is easy to use. Most importantly it doesn't lose suction as you vacuum as promised in the promos. I also like the fact that because it is an upright I don't have to drag it around the house..much better for my back!

I filled the vacuum on its first use vacuuming a room that I had only just vacuumed with my old vacuum cleaner. Being an upright, it is just so much easier to use than my old barrel cleaner. I know there have been complaints about the stair extension being unwieldy, but I found it to be not too difficult. With such superior cleaning power, I am willing to put up with it! Also, I love the thoughtful design of the machine - everything locks into place with a click. Also, the ease of simply emptying the dust catcher instead of mucking around with replacing bags as I had to do with my old vacuum cleaner (to say nothing of the expense of continually replacing the bags).

I absolutely love this vacuum... I have both tiles and carpet and it is a dream, so easy to switch from hard surfaces to soft. It is also very easy to manouvre into corners and along skirting. I personally never liked vacuuming before.. but now fine this actually and enjoyable task.

Having had barrel vacuums for years, it has been great to get a fantastic upright. So much easier on my back. Plus all the accessories are on board, and you can extend to reach ceilings, etc. Plus no bag and easy to empty and clean filters. What you wish for when you buy a good quality machine.

The instructions for putting together and useage could be better; so not really the product but I will be going into an appliance shop to see if I can get someone to demo one for me!!!
