I'm thrilled with this vacuum cleaner. I actually enjoy vacuuming now which is odd. The amount of dirt the cleaner picks up is frightening - in a good way! Just shows how much my old cleaner wasn't picking up. I find that I have to clean the turbine head after almost every use though, which drags out the cleaning process a bit. Nice and easy to clean the canister though. All in all and excellent vacuum cleaner.

Great vacuum cleaner - compact, quiet and nimble. Only small drama is the telescopic wand is quite thick at the bottom end so cannot get the cleaning head as far under some low sitting furniture as I could with a "normal wand".

A Firstly, you need to choose a vacuum for the size of your house. The DC26 is for a small 1 bedroom/studio apartment. The DC22 is for a small 2 bedroom apartment (this is a good one). If you try and use them for a larger home you will be continually emptying them. If you have a 3-5 bedroom home you will need a DC29 or DC23. The DC29 is Dyson's entry-level vacuum. If you have a big house with lots of carpet then the DC23 Motorhead would be great. The next thing to consider is the type of floors/pets/etc that you have. Have a look at the Dyson website for some ideas: there are Animal Vacs and Allergy Vacs; Multi Floor Vacs; Turbine Head and Motor Head Vacs. http://www.dyson.com.au/store/hmc.asp If you need any other detailed advice, please give Dyson a call on (02) 95400400.
