I was very disappointed to find that, having made a mistake in the online order form, Appliances Online people refused to complete the order (feet for a Dimplex heater), instead telling me to ring Dimplex and get the feet from them. A series of calls to their number gave no satisfaction (couldn't leave message). Tried emailing, got a reply to give them model no., which I did but didn't hear from again. Eventually rang App.Online again, getting a different person, who was helpful and got feet sent to my address next day. But I will not use online shopping again, if it is so easy to make a mistake in ordering. JaneCLAREMONT, WA
A Unfortunately there are too many variables to take into account when trying to work out an approximate figure on the price of running one of these units.
Firstly it depends on your current price of electricity, and whether you will be using the appliance in on or off peak periods. Secondly, which setting will be used. Different settings use different amounts of power. If you leave the heater on it will cut off once it reaches a certain temperature, however, if heat is escaping the unit will continue to heat the room. Also, if the room is insulated, the heat will retain for longer, if it isnt, heat will escape, and the unit will continue to heat.
