If you find you use your refrigerator more often than your freezer, a bottom mount fridge will keep you from having to bend down too often to reach the crisper bin. While this can make it trickier to access your frozen food, bottom freezer fridges with slide-out freezer compartments can offset these difficulties.
While bottom mount fridges are available in sizes up to around 500L, their freezer space is limited. If your household has 1-2 people, pick a fridge of 200-380L. If you have 3-4 people in your home, a 350-530L fridge is a good choice. And if you have more than five people in your house, pick a fridge with more than 440L of storage space.
Bear in mind that the larger the fridge, the more energy it will use. And as with any major appliance purchase, make sure you measure your kitchen thoroughly before making a decision.
