Silver Nano Samsung Washing Machines

We have been getting quite a lot of questions recently in regards to Samsung Silver Nano in Samsung front load washing machines, so we thought we would do a post outlining the key benefits of this system.

Samsung front load washing machines silver nano health system features

The Silver nano health system for Samsung washing machines use nano technology

The nano technology introduced by Samsung helps clean, protect and sanitise clothes being washed, on a microscopic level, so your clothes come out not only spotless, but bacteria free and the nano technology completely sanitises not only your clothes but also disinfects your drum from up to 99.99% of germs, meaning the washing machine and your clothes will last the test of time.

The Silver nano health system for Samsung washing machines ensure maximum energy saving

With the use of the silver nano technology, the sanitary levels that the technology produces, usually needs at least a 95 degree Celsius wash, meaning great amounts of energy required in heating the water. This new technology enables the same sanitary results with a cold water wash, meaning less energy is used and the same, if not better results, are achieved.

The Silver nano health system for Samsung washing machines ensures easy maintenance

Some washing machines have the downfall of allowing mould/bacteria to build up and survive the rigorous washing cycles. The Samsung silver nano technology targets all types of bacteria and mould within the Samsung washing machine to provide peace of mind and easier maintenance.

The Silver nano health system for Samsung washing machines anti-bacterial protection lasts as long as one month

The silver nano ions form a coat of protection against unsanitary conditions for your extended health and safety; it helps prevent 99.99% of fungus, mould and bacteria from forming on your garments and guarantees this for up to 30 days.

As stated above the silver nano health system technology is available in many of the Samsung front load washing machines, these washing machines include the benefits listed above and the features listed on each Samsung washing machine detail page.

Samsung WDJ1255C immediate withdrawal from sale 11.02.08

Samsung have run into a labeling issue on the WDJ1255C and as a result we and other retailers have been asked to temporarily withdraw this model from sale to the marketplace.

We have been assured that they will have the correct labels by Monday afternoon (11.02.08). Then this model can continue to be sold. We are sorry for the inconvenience, if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact Appliances Online on 1300 000 500.

Samsung has advised the following:

-This Washer/Dryer Combo must not be sold to the public because it does not have a mandatory safety warning label fitted. This label relates to precautions which should be taken when using the dryer function and refers them to the instruction book for further information.

-Retailers are being asked to withdraw from sale these units whilst we urgently arrange for an adequate supply of labels for the re-work.

-Retailers need not contact consumers who have already bought the product at this time.

-DSMs should reiterate to their accounts that they must not sell the product to the public until the appropriate label is attached.

The text of the letter being sent to retailers follows below; a brief FAQ follows the text of the letter:

The warning label has the international fire hazard symbol in addition to “read the instructions” and relates to precautions which should be observed by the customer when using the dryer function.

The OFT have further advised that under electrical safety legislation it is illegal for units which do not have the label attached to be offered for sale.

The purpose of this letter is to inform you of the situation and also to advise you of your responsibility concerning this matter. Please refer to the bullet points below.

With immediate effect, please:

-remove all WDJ1255C Washer/Dryers from display; and

Samsung Electronics Australia Pty Ltd apologize for this inconvenience and assure you there will be a supply of labels by the end of this week for application to the affected units.

Samsung Korea is currently investigating the cause of this oversight by the factory and will ensure that all future production will be correctly labelled.

You are not required to recall units that have already been sold to customers.
