Standard warranty
All our products come with a full manufacturer's warranty. Note that you'll need the tax invoice from your purchase to make a claim. If you lose your original tax invoice please let us know and we'll re-issue it. Note that most small appliances have no "in-house service". If your appliance requires servicing you will be required to take it to your nearest approved service agent. These agents can be located by contacting your manufacturer directly.

Commercial Customer Care Plan
If you're buying something that will be used in a commercial environment, the manufacturer's warranty covers a maximum of the first 3 months only. Note that all Electrolux, Westinghouse and Dishlex dishwashers come with no commercial warranty.

Extended Customer Care Plan and Business Customer Care Plan
Appliances Online offers an extended Customer Care Plan that covers parts and labour required for repair of goods that suffer mechanical or electrical failure within Australia, for a period of up to 3 years outside the term of the standard manufacturer's warranty. (Subject to some brief terms and conditions ).

The extended Customer Care Plan is offered by Wesfarmers General Insurance Limited trading as Lumley Insurance ABN 24 000 036 279.

Appliances Online will donate $5 to the Children's Hospital Foundations Australia for every Extended Warranty purchase made when you buy a Washer, Dryer or Ironing Centre.

You can pay with PayPal, Visa, MasterCard or American Express. By arrangement, you can also use bank transfer (EFT). Alternatively, you can pay on delivery (COD) with cash, bank cheque or credit card. Only Appliances Online staff and drivers are authorised to take receipt of money.

No transaction fees
Importantly, no matter which payment method you use, you won't pay any transaction fees. We absorb them all.

Return policy

If your goods are deemed faulty following confirmation by the manufacturer you may replace them free of charge by calling 1300 000 500.

If you notice any damage to your goods please notify our delivery team at the time of delivery. We recommend you thoroughly inspect your goods at this time. If you notice any damage to your goods within 24 hours of receiving delivery please notify Appliances Online immediately. Evidence of damage will be required i.e. photographs.

If for any other reason you need to return an item please call the Appliances Online customer help line on 1300 000 500 within 5 business days of receiving delivery.

If your goods remain boxed and unopen you may return them within 30 days for a full refund. A collection fee of $50 or the amount of your delivery fee if it was greater than $50 will apply.

If your goods have been unboxed but otherwise are as new (have not been used or connected) a 20% restocking fee (20% of your purchase price) will apply. Appliances Online does not deal with factory seconds, damaged or open goods and charges restocking fees to cover return costs. A collection fee of $50 or the amount of your delivery fee if it was greater than $50 will apply.

Please note, if you have requested connection of your goods Appliances Online will unbox the product for you at the time of delivery. Also, we recommend you inspect your new goods thoroughly at the time of delivery.

We will organise for your return goods to be collected. Goods are usually collected within 3 days.

You as the customer have a duty of care for the product whilst it is in your possession. If products are damaged by you and subsequently returned, a charge will be made to repair the product to its original condition. Please be aware that where repair is not economically viable no refund will be made.

All refunds will be issued when goods have arrived back to an Appliances Online warehouse and have been inspected by a member of our team. Refunds will be made by the same method used for the purchase.

We are unable to accept return of any goods that you have attempted to install or have used.

Having made the change from top-loaders (most recently a Whirlpool that left lint over everything before it finally died... thank goodness), I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of wash cycles on this Bosch front-loader including several that are as short or shorter than a top-loader. It is reasonably quiet when running except for a bit of a whine during the spin cycle which is to be expected at 1200 rpm. The cleaning results are excellent with clothes coming out clean with little residual moisture & thankfully, no lint. About the only negative is that the user manual is very inadequate which is disappointing in a product of this quality & price. Fortunately it is not difficult to work out how to use it.

This is my first front load machine, I have heard stories of them having real long wash cycles ... this machine is great - lots of different options from spin only to a short wash cycle for small loads. The only thing I don't like is the beeping at the end of the cycle .... but over all 10/10.

This is our first front loader and it is great. Economical, washes clothes well, clothes come out almost dry due to fast spin speed. Would recommend to anyone.

I was disappointed that the enclosed hoses were not long enough to reach my taps (under bench installation). The extension hose was another $132.00 from Bosch, so this eroded any savings I had made on the purchase price. This problem was not the fault of Appliances Online, rather with Bosch who I thought could have swapped the supplied hose with the extension one. Just a caution to future buyers.

I did not give this machine an excellent score because we had an issue after only 2 weeks where some garments were caught by the seal. Both the seal and garments were destroyed and the BOSCH representatives were all very unhelpful and very unpleasant about the situation and initially refused to fix the seal under the warranty. Although, they did fix the seal uner warranty in the end, it was only because I had stood my ground very firmly on the issue, even being willing take the matter to Fair Trade. To add to this, I find the spin does not seem to my mind to really wring the clothes. At 1200rpm, I expected a better level of dryness than my previous Electrolux at 1000rpm, but if anything it seems less efficient. After the previous issue I am not eager to ring BOSCH and speak with them about this, even if it is some fault with the machine. I also think this machine is quite loud, for a front loader. On the plus side, it looks nice and it's normal wash cycle is only 1 and a half hours on cold (less than my previous Electrolux).

Very Classy Machine - I tossed up buying the next model up however after considereing the differences and the extra costs for the upgrade I went with the WAE244662AU - OVERALL very happy, love the machine. I did allot of investigation online as I had previously had a top loader however this front loader does wash the clothes way better, I even noticed the change and I am not the most diligent washing person atleast not like my Mum. Would recommend this model with 5 stars, I rang Bosch to enquire about the seal and its care, the customer service lady was great. I do take care of making sure I wipe out the seal thoroughly (only takes 2mins) after I have finished washing
