Warranty
Standard warranty
All our products come with full manufacturer's warranty. Note that you'll need the
tax invoice from your purchase to make a claim. If you lose your original tax invoice,
please let us know, and we'll re-issue it.
Commercial warranty
If you're buying something that will be used in a commercial environment, the manufacturer's
warranty covers a maximum of the first 3 months only. Note that all Westinghouse,
Kelvinator, Chef, Simpson, Electrolux and Dishlex dishwashers come with no commercial
warranty.
Extended warranty and business warranty
Appliances Online offers an extended warranty that covers parts and labour required
for repair of goods that suffer mechanical or electrical failure within Australia,
for a period of up to 3 years outside the term of the standard manufacturer's warranty.
(Subject to some
brief terms and conditions).
The extended warranty is offered by Wesfarmers General Insurance Limited trading
as Lumley Insurance ABN 24 000 036 279.
Payment
You can pay using...
You can pay with PayPal, Visa, MasterCard or American Express. By arrangement, you
can also use bank transfer (EFT) or Diners Club card (call 1300 000 500 to arrange
these options). Alternatively, you can pay on delivery (COD) with cash, cheque (bank
and personal cheques with matching ID) or credit card.
No transaction fees
Importantly, no matter which payment method you use, you won't pay any transaction
fees. We absorb them all.
Return policy
Damaged goods
If the goods you bought arrive damaged in any way, you can return them free of charge.
(If the damage can't be seen, you need to obtain confirmation of the damage from
the manufacturer before returning the goods to us.) Please call 1300 000 500 to
arrange return. Once you have returned the goods, you can choose to have us replace
them or refund you the purchase price plus return delivery fees.
Undamaged goods
If you do decide to return something that is not damaged, you can do so within 7
days of receiving it if it has not been unboxed. Note that an $80 collection fee
will apply. Please call 1300 000 500 for more details.
If the goods are to be returned within 3 days of receiving them, and they have been
unboxed at any point, a 20% re stocking fee will apply, as we can no longer sell
this product through Appliances Online (it is no longer new).

Just a quick note to thank everybody at Appliances Online (and their couriers) for getting our new Wall Oven and Microwave Oven to us so quickly. I have to say I was a little worried about spending so much money online ($1,498) without anything more than a web interface. Living in WA made it that more risky.

"Unlike other services out there"
My wife and I ordered a cooktop from Appliances Online and while nervous about our first online purchase with them, it arrived within 24 hours, and unlike other services out there, at the time they specified! Brilliant. We then were told that the cooktop was against Victoria regulations (due to the design of the kitchen, NOT Appliances Online). We called in and explained our problem and Andrew was kind, cooperative and quite honestly bloody efficient. All sorted and happy. Hi John, Just a short note to thank you soooooooo much for your help with our fridge. What a drama it all ended up being! Who would have thought when I first placed the order it would become such a saga. We so appreciate the extra effort you and your manager put in to get us something asap. Believe me it was a long 3 & 1/2 weeks with a tiny bar fridge!! And the new one could not have arrived on a better day - Saturday being so hot we were actually able to have ice-cream and icy-poles. Very excited children as you can imagine. You were great at keeping me up to speed with what was or wasn't happening which was greatly appreciated. I have to thank you all for the great service you supplied. I am an elder lady and am so relieved that the installation of my new fridge was so hassle free. Both *** and *** **** **** told me they would take my old fridge away for a fee. However, they would not guarantee that they would take the new fridge out of its box for me, as this would depend on the carrier’s time schedule. What good was a new fridge in a box to me if they took my working one away? Sadly, I remembered the trouble I had getting a new TV out of its box etc., so how was I going to manage a huge fridge? If I had of known of your wonderful service, I would have replaced my very old fridge years ago.
