Seems to be a good budget to midrange dryer. It's very quiet which is nice in a small appartment. The door does seem quite flimsy and cheap but it's not as if I'm hanging of it so I'm not too fussed. Lint filter is very easy to get to at the front instead of the back of the drum which is handy.

Excellent drier, you just put the clothes in, press 2 buttons, and it does the rest. No need to hang around to turn it of when things are dry, the auto sense function looks after that. However, it does get confused by unevenly wet garments, and it is best to sort things into thick/thin and cotton/synthetic. In retrospect I would have bought a bigger one, but this one it can do everything except blankets and doonas.

Dryer displayed distinct "out of balance" syndrome on start up. Fisher & Paykel service attended, disassemble the drum and adjusted. They arrived on time and were very professional. Dryer now works perfectly.

First dryer was slightly damaged in the casing but it was replaced without fuss. Present dryer is working fine and does a satisfactory job of drying the clothes. It is useful to have choices with drying times and heat and the touch controls are easy to use and look very modern.

5 starFantastic!!! I ordered a dryer online but my preferred delivery date was blocked out. Called Appliances Online on a Sunday at about 5.30pm before I placed my order, phone was answered straight away by a lovely lady who advised me she would be able to adjust the order to suit my preferred delivery date once I had made it. The free pick up of the old dryer was also a big bonus, online shopping is the future and you guys have done it very well. Cheers!

A The EW series has the electronic control panel & the other AW has the manual control or dial selector. The electronic is also a sensor model. This will turn off once the clothes are dry. The dial, you select or guess how long it will take for the clothes to dry.

A The filter on this dryer is located in the front when you open the door in the cabinet. Open the door, pull straight up take lint out then replace.

A Between models and brands manufactures can slightly adjust the locations of cut outs at the back of the machine to attach to a wall bracket. Because of this there is a new wall bracket included with this model.There is a good chance you will be able to simply hang this new model off your old bracket as you are sticking with the same brand. If this is not the case the new brackets in most cases can be screwed into the existing holes on your wall.

A This model does not have a crease free function. For this you should have a look at the Electrolux EDV505 or EDV605.

A F&P 4.5 kg dryers only: A drying rack is available to dry shoes, hats and other items that are best dried without tumbling.
