Standard warranty
All our products come with a full manufacturer's warranty. Note that you'll need the tax
invoice from your purchase to make a claim.
If you lose your original tax invoice please let us know and we'll re-issue it.
Note that most small appliances have no "in-house service".
If your appliance requires servicing you will be required to take it to your nearest approved service agent.
These agents can be located by contacting your manufacturer directly.
Commercial Customer Care Plan
If you're buying something that will be used in a commercial environment, the manufacturer's
warranty covers a maximum of the first 3 months only.
Note that all Electrolux, Westinghouse and Dishlex dishwashers come with no commercial warranty.
Extended Customer Care Plan and Business Customer Care Plan
Appliances Online offers an extended Customer Care Plan that covers parts and labour required
for repair of goods that suffer mechanical or electrical failure within Australia,
for a period of up to 3 years outside the term of the standard manufacturer's warranty.
(Subject to some
brief terms and conditions
).
The extended Customer Care Plan is offered by Wesfarmers General Insurance Limited trading
as Lumley Insurance ABN 24 000 036 279.
Appliances Online will donate $5 to the Victor Chang Institute for every Extended Warranty purchase made when you buy a Fridge & Freezer, Dishwasher or Wine Fridge.
Payment
You can pay using...
You can pay with PayPal, Visa, MasterCard or American Express. By arrangement, you can also use bank transfer (EFT).
Alternatively, you can pay on delivery (COD) with cash, bank cheque or credit card.
Only Appliances Online staff and drivers are authorised to take receipt of money.
No transaction fees
Importantly, no matter which payment method you use, you won't pay any transaction
fees. We absorb them all.
Return policy
If your goods are deemed faulty following confirmation by the manufacturer you may replace them free of charge by calling 1300 000 500.
If you notice any damage to your goods please notify our delivery team at the time of delivery. We recommend you thoroughly inspect your goods at this time. If you notice any damage to your goods within 24 hours of receiving delivery please notify Appliances Online immediately. Evidence of damage will be required i.e. photographs.
If for any other reason you need to return an item please call the Appliances Online customer help line on 1300 000 500 within 5 business days of receiving delivery.
If your goods remain boxed and unopen you may return them within 30 days for a full refund. A collection fee of $50 or the amount of your delivery fee if it was greater than $50 will apply.
If your goods have been unboxed but otherwise are as new (have not been used or connected) a 20% restocking fee (20% of your purchase price) will apply. Appliances Online does not deal with factory seconds, damaged or open goods and charges restocking fees to cover return costs. A collection fee of $50 or the amount of your delivery fee if it was greater than $50 will apply.
Please note, if you have requested connection of your goods Appliances Online will unbox the product for you at the time of delivery. Also, we recommend you inspect your new goods thoroughly at the time of delivery.
We will organise for your return goods to be collected. Goods are usually collected within 3 days.
You as the customer have a duty of care for the product whilst it is in your possession. If products are damaged by you and subsequently returned, a charge will be made to repair the product to its original condition. Please be aware that where repair is not economically viable no refund will be made.
All refunds will be issued when goods have arrived back to an Appliances Online warehouse and have been inspected by a member of our team. Refunds will be made by the same method used for the purchase.
We are unable to accept return of any goods that you have attempted to install or have used.

Good fridge, except the freezer compartment wasn't cold enough even to make ice - unless I cranked the temperature to its coldest possible setting, in which case other things in the fridge space below also got frosted. So I returned it. Leandro

it would be good if appliances online had bar fridges with better energy ratings. but maybe bar fridges in general rate low. basically, it would be better if they offered fridges that were somewhat more environmentally friendly. Michele

Good little bar fridge, does what it is required to do for a small office fridge to keep milk and lunches cold. The freezer isn't frost free, but I think this is the case with nearly all fridges this size. Dimity

Great purchase process. Along with this fridge I had bought a microwave without realising it was out of stock. I got an email and a call informing me of that and when I preferred to cancel that order instead of waiting a month, that was no problem at all. Delivery also went well and it was great how they installed the bar fridge for me. Leandro

Good value and excellent service. Will definitely use the company again when I require electrical equipment. It makes such a pleasant change for a company to contact you when they say they will and to arrive within the allocated time slot. I appreciate teh efficiency that allowed me to make the most of the day without hanging around at home for hours waiting. The removal of old appliances free of charge is also an excellent option. All to often customer service is poor - I'm delighted to have found a company where this is not the case. Lucy

Convenient and very efficient. I will use your service again when I need to buy an appliance. (I didn't realise you were Winnings in disguise until I saw the invoice. Well done!) One improvement you could make: Warn customers before a fridge or freezer is installed to take note of the serial number on the back. Otherwise the whole thing has to be hauled out again for that information to be put on the warranty. Marion

I would like to highly commend Campbell of your Sydney store. In all my dealings with many copies over the years, especially through online interactions, I have never come across someone with such skill, grace, thoughtfulness and kindness.
I had ordered a freezer to be delivered in Melbourne a while ago. I needed it quite soon after I had ordered it and in following this up with Appliances Online, I initially struggled to get the basic information I needed in terms of time of delivery. Eventually I had the good fortune to come across Campbell.
Right from the start, Campbell was courteous, helpful and entirely professional. He completely understood my needs as a customer and ensured that I be kept abreast of the situation to the best of his ability.
In the end (although I did not communicate this to him directly), when I think he knew it was clear that my frustration was growing and I was considering cancelling the order and taking my business elsewhere, Campbell intuitively sensed that I really needed this item quite quickly and organised for the item to be transferred from Sydney to Melbourne because he was finding it hard to get even basic information about an estimated time of delivery from the supplier.
Having been the Managing Director myself of a very successful business for many years, I understand the costs and pressures of business, and very much appreciated the time and efforts Campbell took to ensure I had what I needed as soon as possible.
Campbell’s initiative, ‘reading between the lines’ of my need as a customer and extending beyond the norm in order to do the right thing by a customer of Appliances Online, has single-handedly won my lifelong patronage to Appliances Online. If I ever require any further such items, I never shop around or compare prices. I will be ringing Appliances Online and requesting to speak to Campbell directly.
